The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017).
I just… I just can’t describe it. I can’t describe the feelings while and after watching this. Confusion? Fear? Madness? Sadness? I don’t know.

This movie is definitely on the Olympus of cinematic experiences. Don’t watch it as a regular movie; experience it. Don’t force yourself in a vain tentative to understand what is going on. Experience it. On the plus side, this movie perfectly matches Bach’s and Schubert’s music to the images of this modern day mythological tale. What a treat.

Started watching this one on Paramount+ and going to be finishing it on HBO Max since the streaming rights just changed hands. Underrated Bond film, with one of my favorite Bond cars, and John Barry's swan song for the franchise. Also a cool bit of trivia: Joe Don Baker who portrays one of the main villains in this film would return after the series' hiatus to portray Bond's CIA ally in two subsequent films opposite Pierce Brosnan.

I liked Dalton as Bond. Always been disappointed that he was only in 2 movies.

thank you for an excellent explanation of an out of the norm movie without spoiling the plot!

I started watching DrNo and might pause my bond-a-thon
and watch this Movie instead of that superbore™ game today!

yeah

But I liked it ... did you?
I was uneasy watching this movie for the first time.
perhaps experiencing a professor like this in my past work environment.
then this movie grew on me after several viewings
were I would bark "FASTER at every street drummer saw since 2015!
the acting and continuity is stellar and Paul Reiser was perfect!

whiplash is incredible movie that needs a second or fifth viewing!
