Yes read it twice, and I changed my mind about not liking Grace. His redemption arc is shifted a little because of his amnesia and he redeemed himself in other ways and rose to the occasion. The novel is fantastic!
Love that movie and again with Alan Rickman stealing the show as rancher Elliot Marston.Quigley Down Under (1990)
American Matt Quigley answers Australian land baron Elliott Marston's ad for a sharpshooter to kill the dingoes on his property. But when Quigley finds out that Marston's real target is the aborigines, Quigley hits the road. Now, even American expatriate Crazy Cora can't keep Quigley safe in his cat-and-mouse game with the homicidal Marston.

F1 (2025)- Brad Pitt is not an actor I like, i put him in the George Clooney category, a pretty face, but nothing that ever grabbed me, but I’m always ready to give most actors another chance. F1 should be an adrenaline rush, but I just was not feeling it, did not finish cause I really did not care about Sonny Hayes and I disliked the music. Ford vs Ferrari was a much better story. Yet note, this movie got high marks at Rotten Tomatoes. Maybe it’s me. 🤔

I agree with both of you. I finished the F1 film and was not impressed at all. It was boring, predictable and no character development either.Nah. I agree with you however I did finish the film.
Racing movies rarely hit the mark for and I LOVE racing and F1 in particular.
Ford vs Ferrari is a much better film.
Gran Prix is probably my all time favorite racing film.

Ford vs Ferrari was an enjoyable movie and one I like.
Haven't seen Gran Prix though...
Very strong racing focused films. Grand Prix a classic and still the best of the lot...Ford vs Ferrari is a much better film.
Gran Prix is probably my all-time favorite racing film.
It’s been a long time, I should probably rewatch Grand Prix. 🙂Nah. I agree with you however I did finish the film.

Came for the Sharpes, stayed for the mustache.Love that movie and again with Alan Rickman stealing the show as rancher Elliot Marston.
"The Final Countdown" I remember it very well. I've talked to many of the actors in this movie. I was stationed onboard the USS Nimitz in Security Division when they were filming this movie. Most of the movie was filmed while the ship was moored at pier 12 in Norfolk Virginia. We did get underway for 2 days off the coast of Virginia for some filming. Also some filming was done on the West Coast. I do watch this movie from time to time to see some of the crew that I was stationed with, remembering the good old days. The Final Countdown (1980)
During routine maneuvers near Hawaii in 1980, the aircraft-carrier USS Nimitz is caught in a strange vortex-like storm, throwing the ship back in time to 1941—mere hours before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
