I re-watching a bunch of Jackie Chan 70's-80's kung fu movies. Bad dubbing with stereotypical bad lip sync, great fight choreography takes me back to my Saturday afternoons childhood. The plots are thinner than 1 ply toilet paper, but I don't watch for the engaging story.

The old beggar is Jackie's master in a lot of his movies. I never learned the name of the actor, but his collaboration with Jackie is always fun.

The drunken master never gets old.

BattleTruck (1982)

Watched it on YouTube the other night, and the title was Warlords of the 21st Century.

It's the 21st century, the Oil Wars have made a mess of the planet and the land outside major cities is lawless. After Hunter comes to the aid of Corlie, who has run away from the villainous Straker, he takes her to the peaceful community of Clearwater. Unfortunately for the citizens of Clearwater, Straker fully intends to get Corlie back.

I had been binging a documentary on Netflix and when it ended I just clicked on the first movie that was suggested to me. It was a Sci-Fi/thriller called "Lucy" starring Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman. What a trippy movie! The special effects were pretty good and even though Sci-Fi is NOT my genre, I enjoyed it but you don't want to get too logical about the storyline...just sit back and enjoy the madness.

A freelancing former U.S. intelligence agent tries to track down a mysterious package that's wanted by both the Irish and the Russian governments. One of the best action films of the late '90s. A group of mercenaries deals with a job that from the beginning was expected to be difficult from start to finish...

"What is the color of the boathouse at Hereford?"

I was curious where they shot the café and steps. The staircase in Montmartre is still there, but the building that served as the café was torn down.

I love this movie, although the end, I understand it, but thought it was an underplayed. The thing is, this person has so much power that if she focused on the bad guys, it would have been a short lived conflict, instead of the way it actually ends, lots of fighting while she prioritizes her intent, as it was a time sensitive task. I’m vague as to not spoil.

Exterminators of the Year 3000 (1983)

It's the year 3000 and a nuclear war has turned the earth into a desert wasteland. A group of survivors living in a cave run out of water and desperately need to locate a new supply. The last guy they sent out to find water never returned, and now his 10 year old son Timmy wants to join the next search team. They think they know where there's an untapped well of water, but to get there they have to travel through dangerous terrain controlled by a savage gang of motorcyclists under the bloodthirsty reign of 'Crazy Bull'. On their mission, Timmy and his team run into a lonesome stranger named Alien (Robert Iannucci) who may be able to help them against the marauding motorcyclists. Can the struggling survivors looking for water in this barren world defeat Crazy Bull and his exterminating minions? Hang on tight - the battle has just begun!

I watched the first three of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and am now watching Now You See Me; Now You Don't, the third movie of the franchise...

I will go back to watch the remaining two of the Pirates movies, but I felt kinda burnt out after the first three...
