32GB..my IPHONE is 16 and since I have other :apple: products I figured I didn't need everything on this IPAD. Plus it's my first so it seemed better to go with 32..not too much and not too little. Perfect decision.

I got the 64GB after going with 32GB with my first two iPads. The amount of apps I install and the fact that they will be larger to accommodate the retina display made getting a 64 GB model a no-brainier.

I went for the 32 because my past experiences with 16gb iDevices were very restrictive and annoying. I'm glad because when I loaded it up for the first time, straight from the get go I already had 28.9gb left and that was without touching it. Imagine what you'd be left with on a 16 and then have to cram in as many apps and movies as I do.

32 because I was fine with 16 on the 2 and while the 64 is a better value its not like its some great deal on the extra 32 for $100.

I went with 32 on the iPad 3 partially out of concern of retina app sizes (seems ok so far but we'll see once 2d games update or 3d games add higher textures) and also since I dont expect to upgrade until the 5th gen now and even if I could get away with 16 now I doubt I could for 2 years.

16

While the retina display and 1 gig of RAM are fantastic for hi res pr0n, I don't need or want to actually store it.

Did u get4g?

16 gb black wifi:apple:

I'm a college student and I don't have time for watching videos on it. Hence

smallest size for books and browsing.

I already filled 5 gigs worth of books and reading materials. I will be using my

iPhone for music. 5 gigs of reading should last me for very long time.

After reading about so many people exchanging their 16 to 32 I was

contemplating also but extra $100 seems overkill for my needs.

All in all iPad is nice but so far but I can't look at it more than a gigantic

iPod/iPhone.

P.s. having limited space would mean you will know your iPad corner to corner. Think of it as a time management;)(space management)

32gb because of price. If it becomes insufficient, I figured I will just have to manage storage (removed unused apps, content, etc.)

I used my iPad 1 and will use my iPad 3 as an internet device. All music and photos are stored on my 32-GB iPhone 4S. I seldom game and don't watch videos on the iPad.

Last night I cleaned up my 16-GB iPad 1, which has been updated with iOS 5.1. At the start, it had 12.1 GB free; now it has 12.9 GB free.

I purchased a 16-GB iPad 3. I'll take the $108 or $216 that I saved and put it towards a new Mac Mini when next updated.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm feeling a bit low now on my 16GB  might send it back to apple store and get a 32GB like most of you guys/girls..I was fine with 16GB on my iPad 2 but this new iPad seems to eat up more memory due to retina display that apps will be bit more fatty.. hope this nasty rain clams down so I can drive to the apple store..I hope they still have iPads in stock:confused:.. Decisions decisions I knew I had a feeling when I bought it when apple guy said what model and size I want.. always listen to your gut feeling:D

I've had all 3 iPads...all of them 64GB 3G versions in Black...

Amongst other things, I use my iPad to watch video on long plane trips. Maybe I'm a little spoiled but I like a large selection of things to choose from. I never know what I'll be in the mood for that day...drama, comedy, etc.

I picked 64 but I really would have liked a 128 MB! Can't have enough space with apps taking upwards of 800MB (Ashphalt6 for example) and 1080 videos going at 1.7 Gb per hour show. Space goes fast!

+1

Even setting up my new iPad off the last backup of my iPad 2 I noticed a jump in the memory used. Definitely needs to have more space in the next go round for those that do a lot of different things with the iPad.

Chose the 16g because I don't store video or music on my iPad permanently. The only thing I keep on there are apps.
Only thing I keep on mine is apps too and I still needed 32GB. I've got 15GB left and a year to go :)

32gb

Until the iPad gets 128gb and bumps the ram even further, I can't justify buying the 64gb.

This might sound a little silly, but with the 32gb Wifi iPad and smart cover/Applecare + it's only $200 shy of the cost of an introductory MBA (educational discount/taxes) no other accessories. I lucked out this time around because of the $350 in Apple gift cards I had here (so to get a 32gb wifi for less than the 16gb version was a real plus).

I'm looking forward to keeping this iPad for a while. And like other folks, music is on my 16gb iPhone.

Some of the big apps are taking up 1-2Gb and theyre not even retina yet. 32Gb has got to be a minumum unless youre just web browsing

I have a 32GB now, im sending my ordered 16GB one back

I don't keep music or movies on it but Apps are taking up a lot of space.
