I actually like the song... :eek:

Hmm, that's all I can remember right now, theres a verse that mentions tears and fears, I believe...
 
it's an oldie really, but hearing 'wichita lineman' by glen campbell on the radio again prompted me to buy that song from iTunes right away.
what a stunner this song must have been when it first came some decades ago.

The last line is actually, "It's a small world afterall" you were close though, actually the first 4 lines are word-for-word (according to the soundtrack I have at least). And the verse with the tears and fears stuff is in the beginning (again according to the soundtrack I have).

Wow. That was.....bad...in a way that I thought only Air Supply could be....impressive in it's own way. I only made it through the first chorus. Did it change after that?
 
well, actually "a friend with weed" (by the butthole surfers, not the placebo version) is in my head currently ;)

last week i couldn't shake the song "bitchin camero" (the dead milkmen) - i think i was reminiscing.

"Respectable" by the Rolling Stones ... great rocker with lyrics that have a tendency to linger in one's mind, such as: "We're talking heroin with the president, yes, it's a problem, sir, that I can't prevent" and "You're the queen of porn, you're the easiest lay on the White House lawn."
