Probably not... I am on beta now... And I will do a clean install... I will have to use some tricks to gets my text messages and iMessages backed on my devices, otherwise I will set up as new

Someone told me that you can download 8.1 file and just update from the beta and it will update without restoring. I'm going to try that because I don't want to restore

I wonder if the bank's servers will crash due to the increased traffic of people trying to add cards to Apple Pay.

I don't think the rest of the world is as excited about Apple Pay as the Apple keynotes would have you believe. I doubt the bank servers will be breaking a sweat. If they can handle the transactions that needed to be processed when iPhone 6 was released, they can handle the registration of credit cards through Apple Pay with absolutely no issues.

You can just do it on the phone. It takes like 5 minutes. No need to even move from your desk. I'm on a beta, so it looks as if I will have to wait a few more hours until I get home and can restore via iTunes.

I've actually convinced several of my teachers during high school to stop what they had planned for class and watch the Apple events streaming online haha.

If I was your boss I'd probably fire you and hire someone with an Android........ God knows those phones hardly get updates so worker performance will be up.

On a serious note, I hope your joking..... Lets say you make $150 a day, you took off work and a potential paid time off for a software update that really only lets you PAY with your card.....

If youre out of a job ApplePay is pointless.
