What to Expect at Apple's 'Hey Siri' Media Event on Wednesday

I can’t wait to see yet another highly overproduced video about something new and exciting using the word al-oo-min-yum!

If anything, the MAIN upgrade should be a drastic bump in screen quality because its very pixelated compared to the models I mentioned.

Wha? The iPhone 6 has the exact same PPI as the iPhone 5S. It's not pixelated at all compared to any model before it. The 6+ is the only iPhone made after the 3GS that has anything other than 326 ppi (4, 4s, 5, 5s, 6).

Youre joking right? The same PPI is stretched to 4.7 inches vs. 4" on the 5S...that says it all. The most its stretched the more pixelated it becomes.

amazing graphics, or perhaps a drawing app developer showing cool artistic work with the stylus.
In an attempt to show that this new apple stylus is way better than any of the many other styluses
produced for the iPad already, and the other tablets on the market.

"We're not finished" or "One More Thing" (but that seems too cliched these days..)
Apple TV is an area of interest.. "we want to move it on" (to use Siri etc)
New Apple TV shown. Emphasis on its 'hub' role, and using Siri to control it...
with spotlight on gaming/apps, as well as showing TV channels. Available to buy tomorrow.

Sadly, you're probably exactly on point. This is one of the first Apple media events where I'm not curious at all.

I’m expecting some great products, I am expecting a BS presentation too unfortunately. Excessive superlatives about how super cool, super great, super fast and super super all this new stuff is.
Stuff that will change our lives in amazing ways that we could never have imagined at the last keynote. Stuff with new features, less repairability, upgradeability, less choice and more cost than ever before,……..

Wow, after reading all of these pessimistic post I am certain I will never read another forum post on this site. What crappy conversations, why even post anything at all. Regardless, I'm still excited and I can't wait for the Event.

i think people need to learn to boo at tim. It's weird to see people clap when they know they hate it.
 
So my crap 6+ will become even more crap and annoying tomorrow when I learn there's a new, better version out that corrects all the faults. Way to go Apple, an iPhone used to be good for 24 months but this POS has been trouble since day one.

Yah, but here is something you can try to make reading through all the trolls entertaining.

Check out the guys with nothing better to do than visit here and then actually take the time to post here to tell you that they are "Absolutely NOT Interested in the Sept 9th Event".

They are so "not interested" that they post to tell us that on macrumours? Really?

That's the punchline for me.

Think about the motivation it takes to do that? It's a bit ironic and makes a guy laugh.

OK. Not sure if trolling, but just in case:

PPI means "pixels per inch". In other words, in one physical inch, there are X pixels (in the case of the iPhones 4 through 6: 326). In one inch. So if you have 4.7 inches instead of 4 inches, you have more pixels. But the PPI doesn't change.

ALSO - I hope Apple Music gets some improvement - maybe with Force Touch, Apple Music interface gets more intuitive?

Apple Pay finally released in Canada?
