We are pathetic :)

First I want to say that we sound in this fourm like some aaa group :)
Only week and so to wait... With today Internet technology, a week sounds like forever, when every hour a news or some tidbit of some sort is coming, people want the devices now! And fast!.
I recall back in the 80 where we waited years for something to come out.

Second I really wonder about Tim statement that this year is going to be amazing.
Not sure he count correctly, but just a reminder to mister Cook, we are in June...
You only have 6 month to roll out the amazing surprises for this year...
Up until now only some minor change to ipad3 ...that's it.

Third
Reading the latest news I really hope that the thing we all was waiting for isn't the pathetic integration to Facebook, which I ( and many more) don't care about.
 
I bit the bullet and migrated my MobileMe to iCloud, despite being stuck on Snow Leopard — so the pressure's off here.

I still have my Color Computer 3! Loved it as a kid typing out the basic programs found in Rainbow magazine! Anyone remember them?

its 02/06 and we have no clue about new imac release date :confused:

At this point, I think many of us, myself included, are holding our breath for WWDC. Can't see Apple announcing a new iMac a week before WWDC now. Who knows, it can't be much longer.

Well, yeah, we must hope the new IMAC will be the protagonist of next wwdc, mb with macbook pro and air.
But i fear a strong return of mac pro wich could delay the new imac to autumn.

imac and mac pro are different. Imac is imminent, not autumn. I can list many reasons but im lazy
 
iMac is more likely to be updated than the mac pro. There has been more rumours and geek bench scores.

O can't stand anymore! Really need an iMac 27 with radeon 7970! I've given up the MacBook pro! I already have an air 11, so don't need mobility! O want performance for cad and games! Please Apple, help me!
 
Don't expect any iMac announcments (from Apple) until MR posts a rumor about how iMac retail inventories are dwindling and being constrained. Then you'll know a release is imminent within two to three weeks.
 
A question about the new iMac: I have a small silent PC in the same room that needs a monitor. Will it be possible to use the iMac as a monitor? Preferably without having the computer part running and sapping energy. I know I can use something like Splashtop but that would require both computers to run.

If it's like the 2011, then no. It only accepts thunderbolt video connections, and those are just now coming out on PC boards, so I would have to assume that you don't have that.
