Your point about "Mac OS X" vs "OS X" is an interesting one though.
But it's also expected, Mac OS X Lion IS preinstalled on this machine, rather than OS X Mountain Lion which isn't out yet.

Right, but the "Mac OS X" branding has already been retired (except in URL paths): http://www.apple.com/macosx/
Maybe its nothing...but Apple take care of details..so..its a little strange..Your point about "Mac OS X" vs "OS X" is an interesting one though.

Even Mac Pro's are getting some action, come on iMac's!!
Open up amazon.co.uk (or your favorite amazon store). Search for imac.
Now open another tab, and do the same thing. Every hour or so, refresh one. You want the other to spot what changed.
Its entertaining (during the interminable wait for next week) to watch the prices. Sometimes amazon drops/raises prices or shows low stock. Other times, resellers add to the food chain.
As we get closer to WWDC one might expect some indicative movement.
But iMacs (on amazon and ebay) refuse to move out of the same price range.
Unbelievable, even more Mac Pro news.

Whilst I agree that it would be easy to fake, I will just sit back and enjoy the rumour mill until next week. There will be more leaks between now and then. Looks like those of us who said new Macs at WWDC are going to be right.
Hopefully a bunch of us will be testing out new iMacs next week instead of here bickering over who said it will be announced at WWDC first.![]()
I don't think the iMacs will be available for immediate release.
When Apple has no track record of releasing new hardware on mondays.
Kinda funny how things work out. For the longest time some would say Next tuesday. Often they would also say The apple store is down on a sunday night. When Apple has no track record of releasing new hardware on mondays.

Of course, a couple of these were actually announced at WWDC and made available immediately that day, which is traditionally on a monday. We'll hopefully be seeing a repeat of that next week.
