eMate 300. Thing rocks; I still use it.
My battery is dead, though, so it only works off of AC power...
Technically, my first Apple laptop was my 15" PowerBook G4 1.33, but I also have an eMate 300 with a dead battery. Keep meaning to build a new one but I never get around to it.
I'm currently using a unibody 15" MBP 2.4. Nice upgrade from the G4.
I was hoping to see more of the 5300ce, but those were the good ole' days when you could use RAM Doubler or Virtual Memory and everything seemed "snappier" in a matter of minutes. Pretty sleek computer with it's color LCD screen, but a bit heavy. I would tow it around with a nice Targus "pleather" briefcase and bought a nice portable HP printer that accompanied this amazing machine everywhere...

Best Portable Starcraft machine ever. Maxed the ram to 544. Was always sad it wasn't a Kanga (G3 233 MHz rather than a 603 200 MHz).

Same here. Though I'm getting an itch to upgrade to a Unibody. Trying to hold off till next year, though.
My first Apple laptop was the first Aluminum 15" PowerBook G4. I upgraded a few years later to the last revision of the 15" PB. I'm now on the final rev. of the pre-unibody 15" MBP.
My first Apple laptop is the 2.4 Aluminum MacBook I currently own. My first Mac is the iMac I bought about a year and 1/2 ago. Haven't missed the PC since I switched.
