Like a couple of others said, I hope Apple finally fixes the landscape view of the music app. I don't much care for the artwork mosaic since I have hundreds of albums and sometimes hard to find the one I want. But the biggest issue is that if you are shuffling between songs on different albums, the view won't show what's currently playing.
If anyone knows of a workaround, I'm all ears! But I've searched and haven't found anything yet.
With the 6+ and the new landscape UI views, I was really hoping this would be fixed so I could use my Kenu vent clip and have my phone in landscape which will prevent my phone from covering a good chunk of my dash and I prefer to use GPS in landscape.
What are you on? Those were initial issues, they have been sorted out.
We can also get up and change the channel and volume on the TV when needed too, after all, it's usually pretty close to us.Are you serious? Why would you want to have to pick up your phone to check something while you're already on your computer? So much more efficient this way, I am glad it's coming. We'll be saying: "wow, the old way was silly."
That must be in good reader 4, I think I have an older version. Downloading documents now, thanks!
I'm on my 2nd 6 that says otherwise.
Landscape mode works when it wants to
Push notification on email does nor light the led or go to the home screen.
Messages will not allow quick reply :sometimes. Others the keyboard does not come up, just a blank blurry screen.
Phone call quality is poor. I have to ask the other person on a 5s to repeat themselves every other sentence. Full bars on phone.
FaceTime shows the other person sideways or upside down at times. No joke
iMessages sometimes do not come in. Yet other persons says delivered to me. In blue.
Bluetooth does not work properly in car.
Cannot take a call waiting call in car if Bluetooth is functioning that day or Bluetooth disconnects from car.
Wifi will not see my AirPort Extreme network (the latest and greatest apple model). Searches for network. Nothing found. Yet my iPad on ios7.1.2 is connected. Yet sometimes it just connects.
Get a solid red light above VM indicator on phone for no reason. No number on it no missed call recorded.
Camera takes a photo, send it over mms and it goes to the other person sideways or upside down.
Health app says I climbed 5 flights of stairs in 2 weeks. I have 20 stairs in my house and my bedroom is upstairs. Not to mention the miles I walk a day.
Slide to answer a call takes more than 2 attempts minimum.
Keyboard does not go back to letters after hitting the space bar when hitting a number. This could just be on propose via the new keyboard however.
I text k. It corrects to I. Every goddamn time.
Ios8.1 better be perfect or I am just going back to the 5. Tired of this ****.
And my Dad's iPhone 6 says otherwiseHave you attempted to clean install?
no. That is what a iCloud backup is for and the reason apple says to back up your phone to the cloud. They even charge me for 200gb of data so I can actually back up my devices. This start fresh theory is just that, an easy way to point out user error. My iPad had same issues. Set that up as new though.
And your speaking on behalf of your dad's iPhone 6? Not really speaking on your own daily experience.
Access is a bit more limited on iOS where there is no iCloud Drive app allowing access to all files, but the service still allows users of iCloud Drive-enabled apps to view and save files related to that app that are stored and synced with iCloud Drive.
Probably because the name change was the least of what changed about it.Can't believe people couldn't handle the name change from camera roll, to recently added. Recently added makes a lot more sense than camera roll.
I just want all the bugs fixed, that's all.
I don't know if I am just an unlucky victim, but I keep running into rough patches with iOS8. I can't even update my apps because it asks me for someone else's Apple ID password even though I am logged in with my account, and if I log out and try to update then it just spins forever.
This is one of many software issues I've hit since getting my 6+
First thing I did when I got this phone was clean a lot of photos and texts out. I would spend an hour going through things and deleting, then when I hit delete and they disappear, I leave and do something else on my phone, go back and everything I deleted was back again. Had to do things 2 or 3 times before they actually went away, which is a pain to do when it's something like organizing and such which is attention stressed and time consuming
I speak on his behalf because I am his tech support. If he had issues with his iPhone 6, I would not be having peaceful days.
He is having no issues and he is actually way happy about the new iPhone.
I have the same screen rotation and Bluetooth issues as Tigres is having. These issues are real, annoying and have been reported elsewhere. Maybe not everyone, including your dad are experiencing them, but that doesn't mean it's nonsense as you are apparently implying.
The BT issues seem to be fixed in 8.1

Is this a used phone?
Or did you restore it from a computer that does not belong to you.
All what you are describing is related to being linked to someone else's account which is not a bug.
Logging in with your Account will not help if the applications were installed with some one else's account. You need to delete the apps and purchase them with you Apple ID.
Can someone tell me how to get phone calls to work on the Mac? I have Yosemite and 8.02 and I cannot see my Mac as a "speakerphone" -- not sure where or how to activate this.
It just doesn't seem to want to play ball with me... I've got a late 2013 iMac and an iPhone 6 Plus, both with latest OS... I've followed all the instructions (not that there is many) and rebooted both devices but it's still not working. Very odd.
