Oh no! Where has my "unplugged" gone? I download podcasts from non-iTunes websites all the time... mp3, Unplug, save to desktop, drag into iTunes, too easy.

So is there some new button in FF3 that lets me save media I've downloaded into a browser window? Say, audio or video?

??? I don'y quite understand the question??

I've been running Beta 5 since its release, and I'm really enjoying the stability. A few complaints (and they may have been addressed) is the "back" button doesn't actually go back but instead gives an index of previous sites. Also, I'm not a fan of this theme, so I'll be happy to see a final release so that I can skin up FF to look differently. I liked my grApple theme so much that this weird backbutton thing is throwing me off (and maybe that's not a theme issue.)

Finally, my "quick shortcut" for 1password doesn't work with FF3, and that's kind of annoying. I might be heading back to FF2 for the time being just to have access to that.

All that said, I'm excited for a final release of this great browser!

Do you mean the plugin that looks like a smiling fish? ^^ If you follow the steps listed here, you can make add-ons work if they haven't been updated for FF3 yet. I just downloaded Unplug and it works fine so far. :)

It still has bugs. Imbedded WMV movies on a web page using Flip-4-Mac plugin chokes often and the start/pause button does not always show.

Logmein's site will hang the browser and rail the CPU to 100%. Both of these issues do not exist in Safari.

i noticed some stability regressions on nightly as well, but nightly is just that, price to pay for on the bleeding edge, beta 5 is better for day-day use, are you on nightly or beta 5?

Hi,

Any idea when rc1 is going to out, the schedule page has been updated in nearly a month, neither has the l10n dashboard.

Thanks.

I want to say by next week, but really not sure, there are still 31 blockers on the schedule, if we take an average rate of 10 fixing/day, it should be out by next week....

Hi Clevin,

Are you getting this graphical issue when today's nightly is inactive? (I'm on Leopard by the way). (See attached).

Hi Clevin,

it has something to do with BUG: Correctly style unfocused window on OS X
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406730

see here for example what it make possible:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=589797&start=210

the default theme need only some changes and it comes likely tomorrow

Regards

yes indeed, one of the few blockers left, Im so excited!:D

Its basically two bugs, one, as checked in today, is the unfocus status, the other, as probably will be checked-in next day or two, is the theme change.

431831 fix has landed. We should see the result in tomorrow's build

Or if you are in a rush, you can grab newest hourly build just to check out. (this will result in a complete whole package download next time you check for update, not a problem since its only 17MB anyway).
