For what it is worth, I have heard of it, but I have never seen it, let alone tasted it.Have you ever made dandelion wine?

No. I don’t drink any wine so probably not for me.Have you ever made dandelion wine?
I seem to recall reading that it is supposed to be quite healthy, and - if memory serves - dandelion is also supposed to be a diuretic.No. I don’t drink any wine so probably not for me.
I think I’ll stick with my tea. Already had three this morning.I seem to recall reading that it is supposed to be quite healthy, and - if memory serves - dandelion is also supposed to be a diuretic.
However, as to taste, I am unable to offer an opinion, informed, or otherwise.
Enjoy.I think I’ll stick with my tea. Already had three this morning.
Grey, wet and cold in central Europe, also.A grey day in the UK. Not warm or cold. Just somewhere in the middle.
Congrats! I quite like basketball, it's fast and requires skill and is one of my fave team sports with hockey and football (I mean soccer of course). My Illini are in the final four!!!
Sorry the weather isn’t playing ball. But apart from your message I’m imagining a coffee shop, a nice dinner and perhaps a walk around the old town.Today is my first free day in three weeks, and it is pouring rain.
Well, such is life.
There are daffodils, (including in a vase, in my room, a gift from my assistant), there is cherry blossom.
And there is a massage booked for 14.30 today.........even the anticipation is a form of pure bliss.
Pretty much, so, yes.Sorry the weather isn’t playing ball. But apart from your message I’m imagining a coffee shop, a nice dinner and perhaps a walk around the old town.
Sound about right?
Well enjoy your day off whatever you end up doing with the rest of your day.Pretty much, so, yes.
Nonetheless, it has been too wet for a coffee shop, or a walk around the centre, the old town, (which is where my hotel, a lovely, small, slightly quirky spot is to be found) which is a real pity, as it is my first free day in three weeks.
However, the weather does seem to be improving (or, perhaps I am simply being delusional), as the rain appears to be lessening. And I shall take an umbrella and my Barbour coat.
In any case, I shall head off to my massage shortly - I have a taxi booked; I shall see how matters are afterwards, as I always try to eat very lightly before a massage, and today, just had breakfast, which was hours ago.
Can we have an amen!!!Suffering jetlag without having travelled anywhere is annoying.
Just pick a time-zone and stick to it. BST or GMT - pick one, and stop changing every 6 months.
Cadbury cream eggs are too sweet for me. The mini eggs are nice though. But I’ve not had any Easter eggs for a decade. I’m probably on about 3-4 chocolate bars a year now.Weight loss journey is going great for me, but I'm still stuck with 40 pounds I can't shake off. Walking, dieting, changing habits, changing what I drink, but nothing is moving the needle. I talked to my doctor and she said I could safely up the dose of Zepbound to 7.5mg, so we'll see what that does. But I'll tell you another thing: The season of Cadbury Cream Eggs doesn't help the cravings!
I feel I'm headed that way as well… and that's because of price!Cadbury cream eggs are too sweet for me. The mini eggs are nice though. But I’ve not had any Easter eggs for a decade. I’m probably on about 3-4 chocolate bars a year now.
I eat chocolate rarely, and my pronounced preference (ever since I was a child) is for dark chocolate, as I never much cared for milk chocolate.I feel I'm headed that way as well… and that's because of price!
North of £4 for 90g? 😩
I now make every square last…
Especially if you live in the countryside. What isn’t going up though? You should see some of the shipping costs at work. One product we being over from the US has gone from a 23% cost to cover shipping to 59%. That’s going to hit everyone’s pocket.
Glad I drive an EV as a friend was telling me he went to three garages yesterday to find diesel. He was down to 18 miles left. When he did find it, it was very expensive but what choice did he have?
Like me this friend lives in the country.Especially if you live in the countryside.
Country living requires access to one's own independent means of transport, - in the form of a car - as the available public transport is rarely sufficient when one resides anywhere outside a city centre, or the inner suburbs of such a city.
Ditto. For what it is worth, I have heard of it, but I have never seen it, let alone tasted it.
I know I've seen articles talking about theoretical dandelion tea health benefits. Of course, there seemed to be the usual waffling, like "may help" and "additional studies are needed."I seem to recall reading that it is supposed to be quite healthy, and - if memory serves - dandelion is also supposed to be a diuretic.
One or two buses a day are fine if all that you wish, or need, to do is to occasionally toddle or wander into the nearest town for some shopping, or to meet someone for a coffee or a beer.Like me this friend lives in the country.
One of the reasons I switched to an EV (and this month also Mrs AFB to one) is that we don’t have a 25 minute round trip to get petrol. Mrs AFB charges up on the drive once or twice a week. I charge up at work once a week. Much easier.
We get one or two buses a day in our village. But I’ve never used it. Probably never will tbh.
