A couple more of the tulip magnolias; I know I have more cherry blossom photos, too, just need to look further....
I have a folder on my desktop which I use to share photos with my iPhone, iPads and Apple Watch; some of the photos were in there so that made it fairly easy to pull out some of my favorites:

I had thought I had more in my "spring flowers" folder but I skimmed that folder quickly, so may have inadvertently overlooked a couple of cherry blossom images. I remembered the image I shared, it's always been a favorite, so I was concentrating on finding that one in particular.

Well, duh, I had an entire folder of them! I apparently overlooked that folder earlier....

Thank you! Now I'm wishing that this were already March and that I could be checking The Washington Post's special "Blossom Watch" for word of when Peak Blooming is to be expected!
How is the Red Sea blue?
Pudding is on my mind. But there isn’t any so I’ll just settle for tea.
A nice slab of chocolate cake would be nice!Any pudding in particular?
This is a time of year when occasional lapses in such matters are perfectly understandable, and ought to be indulged.
A nice slab of chocolate cake would be nice!
But this is a pudding free house. Can’t think of anything in the house that would remotely fit the bill.
A hot chocolate is probably as good as it gets later. Why not buy a small cake for this time of year?
I'm not normally a pudding person, - especially in summer, when an occasional fruit tart will do the trick - but there are biscuits (oaten ones, similar to posh digestives), French (Breton) galettes, and the remains of the porter cake in the house at the moment, and I will spy out some high class biscuits which should be reduced over the coming days, and perhaps add a cake (or apple tart) to that list.
Obviously it was different when we had mother with us; then, there were cakes and croissants almost daily.
However, this time of year, one needs little treats to get through these dark, cold, dreary days.

50 minutes to go bye bye 2019 it was nice meeting you 🤝 😏
Monkfish Curry...
As promised earlier, the ingredients include:
- shallots
- garlic cloves
- ginger
- lemongrass
- lime leaves
- green chilies
- coconut milk
- coriander
- monkfish tails (large chunks)
- water chestnuts
- Thai fish sauce
- lime juice
- Thai basil leaves
Served with jasmine rice and steamed pak choi. Accompanied with a nice Sancerre or Reisling.
Well, we couldn't locate Thai basil leaves so are ignoring that ingredient. Hopefully it is not a major link to success. In about 5 hours I will know. After an Asian warm duck salad starter.Thank you very much; much appreciated.
Actually, that reads as though it ought to be delicious.
A few weeks ago, I prepared something similar, and, though it lacked the Thai basil leaves and the water chestnuts, I'm pretty certain that it included all of the other ingredients that you have so kindly listed.
