Podcasts are something I've never gotten into.....don't care to listen to them and I sure as heck am not about to create one! I suppose for some people they're interesting if they're on a topic of particular concern or if someone doesn't want to listen to music while driving to work or on a road trip, but I prefer music when I'm behind the wheel....
Absolutely, and likewise, for me.

Music, for when I am travelling.

Re a podcast, I will only listen to one if two conditions are met:

1), the topic was (is) of compelling interest to me, and 2), the person delivering the podcast is exceptionally skilled at doing so, - has been recommended by sources I respect - and knows how to present such material in an attractive and interesting manner while using this medium.

Exactly. Maybe some talking on the radio, but not really into podcasts at all.

Feeling as though I accomplished something today: Windexing the storm door on the front of my condo unit and the storm door in the kitchen, so then I didn't feel guilty going outside to play on the boardwalk for a while with my camera and the wildlife.... Still need to do the sliding glass door on the deck and the windows on each side of it, but that is a project for tomorrow or another day.

Had a lot of fun doing the photography but now the part that takes longer is the reviewing and editing of all the images! This is really time-consuming when one shoots a lot of images, especially when using Continuous High/Burst mode. I'm still sorting through the images from this afternoon..... So that is what is on my mind at the present!

I'm thinking all the podcast startups from last year will disappear within the next few months and then a good chunk of the mainstream media will stop producing exclusive content for the medium. The pandemic destroyed the momentum.

There won't be another Serial.

I'm probably going to regret drinking this coffee this late in the next few hours.

Or that because you like a person's work, you like their fringe views and endorse every single mistake they've ever made.
I like that one can interpret both "fringe" and "single" as nouns, so this sentence can be understood as:

Or that because you like a person's work, you like their views regarding fringe and endorse every mistake they've ever made when they were single.

I wonder if Amazon affiliates make any money, like Wirecutter. Even if I take their review I don't actually click their links. I open a new tab(maybe some days later) and visit Amazon and buy from there, or buy from another online store.

Amazon should have referral code that consumer enter in as a thank you/reward for whoever advertised/recommended this item for them.

Amazon are only interested in making money for themselves. A disgusting company.

Yep. I'd say the podcasts I listen to match your two conditions :) I find - at least for my choices - the content is pretty compelling, and for me, they're terrific while I'm working (or occasionally chilling up in the bedroom, doing something around the house ...) I listen to quite a few discussing film and "TV", science and tech related content, software development, economics, some political, a couple of interview type.

I really wish I could find a heating pad that doesn't cool down so quickly. I get it's a safety feature but it makes me continue to bump it up higher. It's driving me nuts.

I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to a small screen Android after playing with this 6.8" LG V60. I'll definitely go bigger on iPhone when I'm ready to get another. My 11 Pro Max is still good for another year or two.

I hear you on that, Namara! I have a brand-new car and the other day coming home from a run to the grocery store I deliberately parked in a different space than the one I'd had earlier, in order to not have to be parked next to a big old Jeep, which makes it difficult to see when backing out, even though I now have that wonderful backup camera. Ah, much better, thought I..... Until today I looked out and darned if that stupid Jeep isn't again parked next to me, having ALSO moved to a different spot!!! DANG!!! (However, he may have done it in order to avoid getting leaves all over the car, because they've been blowing around like crazy from the tree in front of the building and also since it's raining they make a mess all over one's car, too when they get wet.) Sigh..... So much for my attempt to get away from the Jeep.....

Nothing is wider than a new car! At least that’s how it feels!
