Mostly I enjoy coffee only in the mornings but I do also rather like it when having a nice, rich chocolate-y dessert, whether at home or in a restaurant. Obviously over the past year the restaurant thing hasn't been happening, but at home it can be a very occasional event for me to brew a small pot of coffee for after-dinner consumption with a nice chocolate dessert. Most of the time I don't bother, though..... My chocolate peanut butter eggs go down just fine with water or beer, too. Ah, but that chocolate bunny: he may be a different story.....

For many years it was always tea as the first drink of the day and then decaf coffee until bed time but lately I have dropped the tea as its not easy to find here. I like plain old tea bags, any brand, but in the supermarkets all I see is apple tea, red berry tea etc etc and I don't like them. I could get Liptons yellow label in Manila but now we live in Santa Rosa I can't find them.

In the U.K. there is always plenty of regular tea. But if I’m in Europe I drink coffee as they don’t really do tea the way I like it.

I'm strictly tea at home. Coffee when I'm out (occasionally). So its been awhile.

Coffee for me, as a personal preference.

Europe isn't really tea paradise, but Turkey, Russia, and much of Asia (and, indeed, parts of Africa) where I have travelled, serve surprisingly good (and sometimes, excellent) tea.

There are countries - Turkey and Kenya both come to mind - whrere both tea and coffee are outstanding.

????

Complete incomprehension here, I'm afraid, re whatever it is you have written (by way of amending my post in bolded words, capitalised).

I don't even know to what you refer to, in fact, I haven't the slightest clue.

Apologies. I should have put in a linky.

I actually came here to make this observation.

Daylight Savings time has ended here.
Without consultation with She Who Must Be Obeyed (<-- See left) who is glaring at me with annoyance because dinner is now an hour later.

Obviously whoever invented Daylight Savings time had neither cows that needed to be milked at the precise solar time each day, or cats for whom dinner time is a sacred thing.

Did you forget to change the clock in the milking shed? Just sort that and the cows will adjust! :p

That's just the problem. The cows don't adjust. There is very little as stubborn as a cow.*
The truck that comes to collect the milk has to adjust...

*Except possibly a toddler whose favourite shirt/dress/spiderman costume is in the wash.
