Has anyone ever played the same song over and over until your neighbours/roomates/SO get ready to murder you? Thankfully I only have no. 1 to worry about but I keep the volume down in the evening.

That's what earphones were made for. :p

But then my parents have stories about people doing that, so maybe we're doing the world a disfavor actually.

Update: My pain is only in one spot now and it's intermittent. I no longer feel like a goblin is trying to rip out of my entire abdomen.

I can finally feel pain in other places on my body when I accidentally bump a toe or knee like a regular person now. Before my abdomen pain was so bad I couldn't feel pain elsewhere.

I feel a bit anxious as over 2 years I was like this, so reaching this level of being pain free makes me scared it'll come back suddenly. That's normal isn't it? I've been through a lot with my healing process.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

2 days late but I do this every night to fall asleep. I imagine myself in an anime world in order to remove myself from reality. I've had insomnia for decades and this is my equivalent to counting sheep.
I am very glad to read your pain situation has improved! Really happy for you.

Only thing I caution you against is to make sure you imagine the right anime world. Akira, Neo Genesis Evangelion, Attack on Titan would best be avoided for something like SK8 the Infinity, Speed Racer or even Violet Evergarden.

Sorry about that off topic. :p

I get stuck on a song like this. Especially when I'm in my car during traffic.

Nothing is off topic here I don't think. I tend to lean towards Bleach. It's my favorite anime world to be totally honest.

Attack on Titan would be the absolute worst in my opinion.

Thank you!

This is excellent news and I'm sure you are very, very happy to be feeling so much better and not plagued by persistent pain! This new treatment seems to be the one which is the most effective, and thank goodness for that!

YEA! two pints of "Cuvee des trolls" Belgian beer tonight. Plus a Jeager shot on the house at this pub at the trainstation I am a faithful patron of. Glad they are still around.

As a kid/teen I used to lay in bed for hours at night unable to sleep til 1-2am or so... Now I just go to bed at 1-2am, and fall straight asleep. On the other end however, it means I only get about 5-6 hours sleep a day, which I recently read increases my risk of dementia later in life. Yay.

The standard to get dementia almost guarantees I will. I have so many nights I get no sleep. I've had insomnia since I was a child. I wish I could fall asleep naturally, all this medication will catch up to me eventually I think.

Sleep is so necessary, which is why it's overly frustrating when you can never get enough of it!

Looking at beaches to drive down to this afternoon. Two candidates -- Austinmer Beach and Little Austinmer Beach.

The little Austinmer beach is bigger than Austinmer beach?
Yes. The Little one may have eaten away at its headlands to make itself bigger, or the people who named it in the first place may simply have got it wrong. There may have been rum involved. In the early days of the colony the main currency was rum. It culminated in the Rum Rebellion.

Interestingly, and nothing to do with either Austinmer beach, Bligh had two mutinies. A tiddly little one on a ship, and a much bigger one where he lost control of a whole flamin' colony.
