I'm going to go against the grain here and say I love the winter. (I like all our (uk) seasons, the whole wheel turning thing, equinoxes, drawn out twilights etc etc). I thought this morning was lovely, cold'ish - hint of frost, soft misty light now brightening up. Mind I like snow and ice too...

We are there, already. The sun is getting up earlier, and going to bed later.
Kitty's (<-- see left) tummy time always ratchets forward an hour with daylight saving, but never goes back. Soon she will be having dinner for breakfast...

Also waking up are the aphids (killed our nectarine crop already) and the flying foxes eyeing off the nectarines that the aphids have left.
Nice! The sun is getting lazier here. We turn our clocks back on Sunday. LOL! Yes, I remember our kitty's hungry meter never adjusted for time changes. He was hungry, and hungry NOW.

Here here. Totally agree. I feel we discuss this every year. I love autumn, winter and Christmas. Best time of year for me (and others). Those who hate winter; stop bloody moaning!

Which sites?
Not one most people will come across. A supplier of warehouse equipment. I ordered it last night then got an email this morning to say it was out of stock. They cancelled my order. Then the other site I ordered from was awful. Billing address shows as shipping address and the other way around. 4 attempts to change it before it excepted my update.

Poorly designed websites. Trying (and failing) to order some stuff for work.

Agreed it's a problem.
I like to use Brave mostly, but many commercial and Govt. sites don't work with it.
Then I try Firefox, and if that doesn't work, I try Edge.
I was playing with Leanpub last night, and could only get it to work properly with Chrome.

In extremis I will switch from macOS to Windows and use Edge.
A few years Australian Tax Office site would only work using a Microsoft browser under Windows

My previous employer's website would only work if you used Internet Explorer, because they used some Microsoft-only APIs to develop it. The fact that at least 20% of their employees used Macs wasn't a problem to management...

There are standards that should be used to develop websites. However, for some developers, conforming to standards, like a foolish consistency, is the hobgoblin of little minds.

We run about 6 websites on 5 different platforms. It’s a nightmare! We are trying to standardise, but as quick as we put a plan together another company gets added to the group and the developers are all dealing with that!

After just a beginning of listening into this album, I am totally bewildered in a way I never been before in a musical experience.

There is a reason why I more or less have stopped listening to mainstream music today.
It simply don’t do anything for me. It’s not deep, mature and don’t move any emotions in me anymore.

This album however…..tears just streams - what a beginning of a catharsis….?❤️‍??

Those girls voices together again, that have matured so incredibly beautifully.
And the music and lyrics from those guys, have got such deep character and sensitivity.
As they said themselves: it’s walking into unknown territories musically. Indeed!

They are all such extraordinary musical geniuses ??✨

I’m back in London after my trip to Kenya and Ethiopia, awaiting my ride back home, thank goodness for care-hire, I did not want to make the two and half hour drive. I will be in the forum tomorrow to catch up.

It's such a lovely Sunday morning. Coolish, light breeze, sunny. The ideal Spring Sunday morning.

I was thinking of attacking the climbing rose, which means getting up on the ladder, with protective goggles, leather gloves, secateurs, the lot. But no, buggrit. It's too nice a morning to spend swearing at a plant.

Speaking of climbing rose, it's more of an invading rose. It has gotten up under the roof, wrapped itself around the gutters, and generally taken over. I'm thinking of naming it Norman. After the Norman Invasion...

Some little time ago I mentioned Norman, the Invading Rose.
Rejoice, for Norman has been vanquished.
And, as with repelling any proper invasion, one did not use one's own forces, but hired mercenaries.
Specifically, one mercenary, to whit, a son, who drove over and attacked and vanquished Norman, in exchange for a free feed.

Oh, that really sucks. Had a similar experience using an online pharmacy; I'd place an order using a prescription, and then get an email two days later, saying they were out of stock and the order was canceled. Then I'd need to get a new prescription written and place a new order. This happened three times.

I just checked the first and last emails I got from them; the whole thing took a month.
