I've now had the Mac Mini for less than 2 weeks and I'm very happy with it.
Though now that I own a Mac and have been using iPads for almost 10 years now, I totally get what some folks mean about how Apple is treating macOS. Some elements of macOS are so similar to the iPad that it effectively flattened whatever learning curve there was for me. That and software like Rectangle for better window management.
But after years of Windows 8/10, it feels like everyone is developing their desktop experience with mobile users in mind. To me, that's neither good or bad, I'm used to it at this point.
