What's the story behind YOUR nickname?

It's the nickname/email I use almost everywhere on the internet. Started as my assigned login in college as first initial + middle initial + first 6 letters of my last name. Due to the rise of the internet/email in that time I became very proficient at typing atszyman since I had to do it so often. Combined with the fact that it is almost never taken with any online signup/ISP (the rare times I have not been able to get it is usually when I signed up for something many email addresses ago and cannot remember the password). This gives me at least some consistency across the web.

It's what everyone calls me because my full first name is Cassandra, but no one likes saying that (apparently ) and I absolutely hate it when people call me "Cass", so "Cassie" is a good compromise.

reason i picked it was when i was younger i always wanted to go to duke, mainly to play basketball and major in marine biology. 85 is the year i was born. for some reason i have kept this name for nostalgia
now that ive wised about about my playing ability lol, i went to colorado state where i just graduated in mechanical engineering

Mine's MrWizardno2 because of my first job. My boss's nickname was Mr. Wizard. He could fix anything. I saw that man tear equipment apart in the field and replace pieces and parts, only to have a working amp or camera after a few moments.
After following him around in that job for a year, my nickname was little wizard. But when it came time to pick a screen name I picked Mr Wizard number 2 - or mrwizardno2 for short.

I happened to be nursing the BBQ grill that is the Macbook Pro at the time of joining - so temperatures were on my mind. I thought about Celcius, even Fahrenheit and even variations of BBQ's or maybe even CookBookUser but eventually decided to go all clever and stuff and do Celcius in Japanese. That was before I found out that Sesshi is some sort of Anime character.
I chose mine (which I use in several forums, actually) based on two things: 1) It's the name of a Tangerine Dream song, and 2) The name of a small town in Scotland - I have no idea which one had a bearing on me choosing it as a username.... probably because I was listening to the song at the time? I really don't remember but it's connected with one of those.
A change for me, after 10 years using Finalday, I decided it was time to change. I like knights and Mac, so it was a good fit.
about seven years ago I was planning the move from the UK to the south of Spain. My brothers decided to call me costabunny because of my love of all things Bunny (stuffed, real, cartoons etc) and that I would be living on the Costa-del-Sol.

My nickname (officially pronounced "gee hall") comes from my first initial and my last name. I use it because my assigned username for my high school email account was ghall.
When in high school, everyone called me "Gibbs", which is my last name. As I enrolled as a freshman in college 6 years ago, we had to select a screen name for our email addresses. I tried gibbs, but it was taken. So I just swapped the "s" with a "z" to make it work. Thus the screen name "gibbz".
i was on a coach party and i was fairly drunk and this old cowboy began speaking to me, he was pretty drunk but he started to give me some life advice anyway, so i asked him to think of a great nickname for me as my real name is Will.. he said wilmor.. thats it..
