My nickname is Roob, and at the time when I first needed an internet/gaming alias, I was listening to a band called Himsa. I nicked the 'sa' and stuck it at the end of Roob, et voila, Roobsa. Simple but it's stuck with me for years now and have some variations of Roobster, Roobs etc.

My username is fairly easy to decipher; I'm a Berkeley student trying desperately to hold onto my youth. :p

It's what one of my names means in English. Surprisingly after roughly a decade of use (as my email as well as regular internet handle) I've only received one comment regarding its potential as innuendo.

mine is a characters name from a really cheesy, awful play that i did an excerpt from with my best friend in a high school drama class.

DigiCat is short for DigitalCataclysm, which harkens back to my earlier years just beginning to use computers to design artwork - which usually WAS a cataclysm of errors, oopses and OMG-what the Hell am I doing?
The "Redux" is because one: I haven't joined a forum in ages... (I used to be DigitalCataclysm on Spymac before that whole site imploded) and two: there's not enough characters to write out the whole old name here.
:)

Lots of friends mentioned MacRumors had a great community base, and has been happy using the same stable formula or years. So now that I have a little time to pop around a Forum here & there, I'm giving this site a Go.

Shortening of Pfhorque.

From Pfhor.

Either you get it, or you don't.

They're everywhere!

initials and zip code. Not a devil worshiper - sorry to disappoint.

TSE always says Toronto Stock Exchange, to me. ;)

The Toronto Stock Exchange is "TSX". Tokyo Stock Exchange is "TSE". :)

Coincidentally, the Mexican Stock Exchange is frequently referred to as the MEX (think "meks", not "em ee ex"), whereas the Montreal Exchange is officially the M.E.X.

Some day, there's going to be a nasty and expensive accident....

Man I feel like a geek.....

Mine is a slight mispelling of a spell from Breath of Fire 2, and old RPG. I use it for most of my game characters in any RPG I play

I was playing Midtown Madness 2 on the old Xbox. I was about to drive the garbage truck, and I thought of writing "TRASH" on it's license plate. But, as I remember it, it would not center the name on the license plate. It would just be in one side, which looked stupid. So I threw in an H, so it was "THRASH". Then it looked nice. I just held on to that, because it had a nice ring to it. I mostly add 911 (not sure why..) or 75 (birth year)..

:D
