iPad When is the iPad 2 jailbreak coming out?

Yeah, that's what I figured. I guess I just wanted Friday to be Funday so badly that I would believe almost anything at this point.

Edit - Allegedly, it was on his Twitter feed very briefly and was taken down. If that's true, I wonder why it was taken down?

I think what I find interesting is that p0sixninja says nothing for quite awhile about the status of his jb, but when it looks like Comex might be the first to release something, p0sixninja says something. I might be wrong in feeling that. Either way, I will use whatever comes first. After seeing how cool Dreamboard is, I want the jb even more so now.

That could still happen, if the jb isn't released soon
 
Veeence retweeted a source saying comex wants his jailbreak to hit before Wednesday.

Yeah, Veeence also bravely confirmed that elevator was an iPad 2 jailbreak. He clearly knows his stuff!

I still believe it is, ionic is just keeping it private, and he felt like getting the people whining for hismexploit off of his ass. He demonstrated elevator to a lot of big players in the jailbreak community, and they all said congrats.
 
I just don't think JB will be here anytime soon.
As much as we are all waiting like crazy for this, it feels like it won't be anytime soon despite what twitter and all the words we are getting from developers.
 
Although comex states that the new JBM is almost ready, I have a feeling it's not coming tomorrow :(

You seriously think he stood up there for an hour at a security conference and talked about an elevator?

Edit: I think that would have gotten more coverage, than a talk about iOS kernel exploits (elevat0r).

It's pretty clear that i0n1c has a kernel exploit for iOS, and he's holding it until some time he feels is right, I don't know how you could believe otherwise. He probably had plans of putting it out, and heard comex had something to hold ipad 2 owners off (a tethered userland JB) until we get iOS5 and a new wave of iOS devices. It makes a lot of sense to do it that way, as opposed to blowing a really solid exploit on essentially one device.

So, sure he's teasing elevat0r, but just because he's teasing it doesn't mean it's fake, it just means he has a sense of humor. I'll admit it is a bit frustrating seeing all the JB blogs blow up over some troll ****, but it's still pretty funny.

While I don't think that this Sunday will be Funday, I don't at all think that it won't be released until iOS 5 comes out. I gotta remain positive that it will come out soon.
 
For anyone (like myself) who was wondering which iOSs the jb, comex said up to 4.3.3.

@comex can u maybe alert everyone as to which iOS version this upcoming release will work on?? (ipad 2 btw) currently mines on 4.3.1.... :)

Great...yet another person who is not comex is making a prediction on when the jb is coming out, though he does say it's an estimation.

Well, it matches with @MuscleNerd's prediction that they'll be something big, on tonight, at Comex's page.
