Looks like comex is working hard on completing the jb right now. I guess the leak increased his urgency to complete before apple releases the fix.
Not good at all comex is just one guy apple will have a team of devs working on patching the exploit. For apple this is real big it puts a lot of their customers sensitive data into a not so secure state this will probably be the fastest patch they have come up with to date.
Just woke up and finished reading through this entire thread and have done a little bit of checking out various sources of information. I will not be contributing to any of the threads related to this jailbreak anymore. To two who leaked it this just proves both of you are trolls.
Saiz, the two of you better hope Comex has enough time to finish the jb for the rest of us before it's too late. It wouldn't be right to have to wait even longer because of what you guys did.
Seriously if this jailbreak is screwed over for the rest of us because of what happened today I am going to be SO PISSED OFF!!! Comex should just release it, the second he released it Apple was going to patch it anyway so mind as well release it now..isn't fair to the rest of us that those who have 4.3 are jailbroken and the rest of us are not..if Apple releases another firmware who cares, I won't be upgrading anyway, I will be fine and dandy on 4.3.3..just sucks for those who have ordered iPad 2's and not received it yet, by the time they receive it Apple will install the new firmware on it
Yea, I realized now what I did was stupid. I know it's too late but I deleted the videos and the PDF files from the website.
You guys need to stop point fingers at these two. Its getting ridiculous. You're acting like they leaked highly classified files that will start WWIII. Get real. Its a hack for a $500 device that is already a grey area in the legal system. These "threats" are unwarranted.
I still don't get what will make it too late. Save your blobs and you're fine. It was patched for 5.0 anyway so this doesn't make a difference. Don't update to 4.3.4 and that's it. Christ. Everyone quit b*tching.
I agree, was anyone actually going to upgrade to 4.3.4 when it came out..of course not..its not like it would contain some huge important thing that would make the iPad better..I just want this jailbreak to work for 4.3.3 and I will be fine with that..I dont care about IOS 5..Id take a jailbroken firmware ANY DAY.. am just worried that because of all this Comex won't release the jailbreak at all..that is my biggest fear in regards to all of this
I wouldn't sweat it, while I don't necessarily agree with what you did, some people in this thread are being ***** ridiculous and overreacting. Once comex fixes the last few bugs for the newer firmwares, and these people have their jailbreak, it will all be forgotten. It's cellphone firmware for christ sake!

He put way too much into this to not release it. If he's smart enough to be able to jailbreak, I know he's smart enough to realize it's not our fault that two idiots decided to leak it. He's a good guy. He wouldn't do that.
I guess tomorrow SHOULD be the big day then..we did not do anything wrong so we should not have to suffer because of it..from what others who have jailbroken with 4.3 they dont seem to have any issues so the jailbreak is ready he just has to release it so I hope that he will release it tomorrow, its probably what he intended to do anyway before all of this crazy nonsense happened
Jailbreaking is not a grey area, it's now perfectly legal. And the problem is that with this leak, Apple will release a patch a lot sooner. And with current lack of iPad 2 on store shelves (they sell out within 2 hours of delivery in my area), all new future iPads will have a patch on them, giving jailbreaking ability to less people than it would initially. While current iPad users are safe, if Apple were to release a patch in the next few days, you can bet your bottom dollar that iPads that will ship in the next few weeks will have patch on them. That's the problem that many people here are afraid of.
I guess it's time to buy iPads now, before it's too late.
But if Comex releases the JB in the next couple days... that only changes their access to it and implementation of a patch by a few days. Its not like it was a 6 month delay if comex had released it and instant via a leak.
Anyone who isnt buying an ipad in the very near future has been risking that all along.
They had stopped working before they were taken down anyway. Saurik blocked it from downloading cydia or something like that.
There is no way to use it now.
Comex is doing all that he can to get the jb released quickly. Of course, I don't really accept the non-apology that the leaker posted here.
I hope so, crossing fingers that he releases it tomorrow..will apple release a new firmware, that is pretty much guaranteed but it was going to happen anyway, just sucks that every time something good is about to happen someone has to come and mess it up
