I hope so, crossing fingers that he releases it tomorrow..will apple release a new firmware, that is pretty much guaranteed but it was going to happen anyway, just sucks that every time something good is about to happen someone has to come and mess it up :(

One last post until I take a break from here for awhile - I agree with you. I was so excited about the possibility of what this weekend could hold, but now the opposite has happened - fighting, bad comments (myself included), etc.

I just hope that Comex doesn't hold it against the rest of us that did nothing wrong and releases it tomorrow..its already out(Or it was already out) mind as well let everything out and have us all have a chance at jailbreaking. That is what happens with beta releases that are passed around on twitter, it eventually gets passed around to their friends and pretty soon everyone has it..its common sense, especially when so many people wanted this jailbreak..it sucks but I just don't see Comex taking all of his hard work and flushing it down the toilet because a few people did(Trust me I am biting my tongue when I am typing this LOL) so I will hope for the best and that it will come tomorrow

I'm an iPad 2 owner, how is this bad news for me? Did apple start forcing people to update firmware? It was going to be fixed in iOs 5 regardless.

That is faster than I thought though.

Exactly, this is a bunch of bull. We all know iOS will be patched with whatever was released. It all really doesn't matter with iOS 5 coming in a few months anyway

Looks like the download links are up again.... Excuse my stupidity, but this won't work on 4.3.3 right?

Snicker snicker, like girls in the schoolyard. If you've got reasoning, just give it. Test my oh so feeble mind, as clearly iOS community involvement should replace the SATs in schools.

Some very basic knowledge of jailbreaking should be a pre-requisite of posting....

What happened to my posts?
DS3, as trolls, anything Confucious and I were to say would lack any validity, would it not?
and SATs are neither given nor required in schools.

Yes angie, Im begging him to give his reasoning because I cant be reasoned with.

He and you have made absolutely zero attempts to provide any reasoning, all youve done is imply you are so well known that no silly plebs should dare ask for reasoning. Its absurd.

You could be Comex himself and me a five year old who has never owned a phone, if you won't do anything but snicker and insult, it's just lame trolling.

And I really hope you have development experience and are not just some obsessive forum posters with unwarranted egos.

Here, let me try this.

Confucious says: The leak is devastating, and we are all screwed.

I say: Some casual owners may update to a potential 4.3.4 before word gets to them a jailbreak is out and 4.3.4 blocks it, and an extra batch of new iPads may be blocked than if there had been no leak. But updating firmware is voluntary, as long as we don't upgrade and save our shsh blobs, the posters awaiting the jailbreak will be entirely unaffected.

Confucious says: Nope, you are screwed this is horrible.

Now here is where you provide the logic to back up that last post. If I'm a stupid, clueless noob and you are renowned experts it shouldn't be difficult to at least give the broad strokes.

And guess what, if you do that rather than troll... we will actually be on topic and the mods won't have to delete more posts.

Edit: I did google Confucius iOS/iPhone. Guess what, your name isn't very original and forum posters don't top the charts. Checking Angie I see her being a mod on some random discussion site saying how it took her forever to figure out how to jailbreak her iPhone. Well damn, you are posters on another forum. What the he'll is wrong with me, let me bend to one knee and apologize.

Simplest logic that even most of the iCommunity understand? So you're saying you won't ever want to update past 4.3.3? Some new, cool, must-have app requires 5.0? Important bug fixes for security flaws in 4.x? Cool new features in future iOS updates? And you'll be perfectly fine being stuck at 4.3.3?

Newsflash: When Comex released the jailbreak it would get blocked in the next firmware all the same, and it was clear from Comex that he was not going to hold back the release for further firmware concerns. Additionally, supposedly the exploit is already blocked in the iOS 5 beta, though I havn't seen the source tweet/post for that information.

But thanks for the enlightenment. This is quickly becoming hilarious.

Edit: Done? What a letdown from the dynamic duo.

I very HIGHLY doubt it'll get released today. His last tweets didn't sound promising. I'm willing to bet on it.

I really hope Comex will release it today, cuz got another day off tomorrow so i can really spend the time to play around after jailbreak :D

I still don't get what will make it too late. Save your blobs and you're fine. It was patched for 5.0 anyway so this doesn't make a difference. Don't update to 4.3.4 and that's it. Christ. Everyone quit b*tching.

Not everyone checks this forum. They also might patch new iPads.

PDF exploits compromise the security of iOS and must be patched immediately. There could be an iPad malware based off this.
