Did anyone notice jailbreakme.com is up for auction on godaddy.com?
Update: Since the files were found on www.qoid.us I found a post on another website that said to setup a web server with IP as "152.22.252.87"
I changed my network IP scheme, setup web server on my file server.
Went to install jailbreak for 4.3.3 and the results are....fail. Instead of 403 (forbidden error) I get a 404 error so I'm guessing something still isn't right.
I did find that the directory structure was www.qoid.us/d/
Put JB files in /d/ directory and still get 404 error.
Edit: Another html files gives me this as the requested URL "Requested URL http://www.qoid.us:80/d/saffron/saffron-jailbreak-iPad1,1-8J3.deb" Setting up directory structure now and testing.
Edit2: Safari crashed, tried again...same 404 error. Phooey.
uhh, what?
It was a long way (thanks for quoting the whole post, btw) to say he failed.uhh, what?
Okay this is weird. I googled jailbreakme, clicked on www.jailbreakme.com and twice in the last hour, the page comes up to swipe the jailbreak, and it says "Comex et al. I didn't want to do anything because I'm not sure if it is real or not, and when I went back a little later, it came up with the page of code on it again. I went to it on my iphone 3gs, haven't had a chance to go on my ipad2 yet. Is that weird or what?

Some people can't get enough of stealing other people's work.
I didn't steal it, I found it. Someone else stole it
Bad analogy.That's amusing...
"officer i didn't steal the money, i just found it from the one that stole it in the first place....."

Just because it is been hosted on a site does not mean that any one can take the files, and much less distribute them... Honestly, I think that is a violation of copyright laws... Sure, eventually they will be released, but they had not. They are not public files until they rightful owner releases them...
Especially your second sentence simply shows that you make a difference between intellectual and physical property.
And well, i don't...

If iTunes got hacked and the payment screen was bypassed, he'd be the one to download all the music and claim it was there for the taking, so he took. LOL
Why would I download from iTunes when I get my songs free anyway lol. After watching MTV Cribs I don't feel so bad for doing it.
