Yes, I got exactly the same mate. Im sure its in a flight, or actually that it has already made its first Europe stop in NL or something Apple-stylish. But getting it this week seems to be a no-no.

This is awesome. My current 2.8x8 + SSD + 4870 + 16gb barely hits 10k. So, adding a 5870 and SSD to the hexacore will speed this up even more. So glad I opted for the hexacore.

That is insane. The hexcore has a higher score than the 2009 8 core 2.93Ghz MacPro. I had no idea the 6 core was going to perform that well. I thought it would be better than the 2.4 low-end 8 core new model, but WOW. I am very glad I purchased the 6 core machine now

It seems that the 3.33GHz 6 core Mac Pro benchmark is on par with the 2.93GHz 8 core. Although on single core applications the 3.33GHz would run a bit faster.

I walked into the Apple store and bought one (well—the company did).

I think I was the first person to buy one there, because both the sales staffer and the techie who brought it out made a big deal out of it. They just got them in this morning (my model anyway). Even the head of business sales came out at the end just to thank me. Nice experience.

I ordered a custom Hexcore on the first day and it is sitting in HK with several other forum members. I haven't seen anyone who used standard shipping on a custom machine that has received it yet.

If so that makes me a tad less anxious. If they can only move so much then obviously the express shippers deserve to get their $50 worth. All is as it should be. I just hope I have some sort of warning if it's early. I need to take the day off work to be here for it...
