Ordered the 8 cores 2.40GHz

Anyone else had the order delayed for that long?
 
Ordered mine 12 Core Friday last week. Apple received my money on wednesday. Today it changed from "Not yet shipped" to "Prepared for Shipment".
How long does it take till it changes to "Shipped". I think my Mac Pro is coming from China und I'm in Switzerland. I can't wait anymore :)

BUT it costs more than 60€ more than this one:



only difference in my eyes is the fact that the cheaper ram is from kingston's Value line. any advice?

I live in Sweden and the only cheap RAM modules I could find here are from Kingston. I'm looking at "KTA-MP1333/4G 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 ECC Module with thermal sensor" and that cost the equivalent of 172$ a piece. That's cheap right? Someone mentioned that the pricing of the Kingston memory modules is a misprint but I'm telling you it doesn't look that way. So the question is, Kingston Memory - What's the catch?
 
Finally! Ordered on the 12th but had a problem with my credit card co. and it finally shipped yesterday! It arrives by Aug 31 but my tracking still just says "Billing Info Received". Which is more accurate; the Apple Order Status page says delivers by Aug 31 but my UPS tracking hasn't even changed yet!

For anyone interested, it's a 6-Core, 5870, BT Keyboard and 16GB of OWC RAM to go in it!

Ordered mine the same day as you the 18th of Aug But I ordered the 12-Core it was shipped on Thursday and it's already here in San Diego but it won't get delivered to next business day which is Monday don't know why your Mac Pro got delayed
 
maybe they broke something and they need more time to fix it.

my 12 core mac pro was shipped about an hour ago
 
Ordered mine yesterday and is planned for delivery between Sept 2 - Sept 9 :D I've already have my 12gig of ram, 60gb SSD, 2 2TB WD Blacks and a 1TB WD Black, and Dell U2711 sitting here patiently waiting for the new mac to take over 2.5gh Dual G5.

And that is the million dollar question.

My Dell Ultrasharp 27" arrived on Monday. And now there is no Mac Pro to test my new monitor. :(

It is going to be a long wait till mid September...
 
One Month for delivery!! :)

Oh jeesuth!!

Finally got an email that my order has been shipped, two hours ago, up until now I've been told that even though it's been delayed, they still can make their deadline of 3rd Sept (although missing shipping on 25th Aug), even spoke on Friday to another supervisor from sales support that it is prioritised so it should get their in time, but also with the email is the new arrival date of 9th Sept!! Then I go and look online and it says delivery 11th September, whey hey, that's a month anniversary of ordering the baby, well done apple, but I'll be on a gig by then, having had somehow acquire a Mac Pro to do the job with me that I have been contracted by my client to do!!

Oh really Apple, I don't really need this, tell me its on a slow boat via Melbourne!

Think I've taken the wrong week to give up drugs..... only joking!!!

It must be the location.

I'm in Europe, ordered mine one day before, the 17, and although it has already shipped, it won't arrive until 10 of september.

Also, I've ordered an iPod which is supposed to merge in transit with the Mac Pro, and this could also delay the shipment.
 
Oh, that's even funnier, just received my AppleCare certificate, which expires 27/08/2013!! Hahahahaha!! So it started last Friday, when apparently I won't get my machine for another two weeks, nice touch Apple!!!
 
Finally....

Well I thought I'd report that my MP 12 Core, 2.93Ghz arrived Friday morning, 3rd Sept! Ordered it 11th Aug, so thats three and a half weeks from ordering, I did have to put a bit of pressure on Apple through a few phone calls a week ago!! Must say it was a bit of a traumatic process altogether as it goes out tomorrow for a job!

Ho hum!! :rolleyes:

HI there. I ordered a hexacore with a 5870, 6 GB and a 1 TB drive...first they said it would ship by 8/23 and then they changed in to 9/8. Fingers crossed.

I ordered the same on 31st August. Delivery should be 17th or 18th September. It's taking ages in Europe..
 
Ordered base Quad just now - might be delivered tomorrow - is that some kind of record? :)

It's not custom so it will ship out faster.
 
I ordered my 12 core on Sept 2nd, it is expected to be here between the 9th - 15th.

My free iPod seems to be making the rounds, it went from China to Anchorage, Alaska, and is now in Oakland, California... I live in Portland!
 
I ordered a quad 2.8 with the gpu upgrade on the 2nd . It is due the 10th. I just received an email saying they shipped it today!
