Lol. How am I responsible for what other people do or think?

My point was that the percentage of people concerned with this is miniscule. It's a non issue other than for a handful of people on this forum that love to have a "gate" to talk about.

The fact is that there is always variation in electronic components, and there are many in the iPhone. No two iPhones will have exactly the same performance across the board. If it makes you sleep better to think you have found the best performance in a single dimension of the device, among millions produced, then good for you.
In your post you quoted the majority. If you are going to do that then you need to back it up.

I need to back it up? I didn't quote anybody. I said "I think". That's an opinion. Mine, to be more specific.

You seriously think that the majority of iPhone owners care which cpu manufacturer their iPhone has? If you want to believe that then have fun in lala land. I'd be shocked if the majority of iPhone owners even know what a cpu is, and if more than one percent has ever heard of TSMC.

OK then...

Common sense seems to point to most people not analyzing and not caring about the internals of their phone. There are tech savvy people who may care; as my anecdotal evidence cars have been around much longer than computers and it's amazing how many people in 2016 still don't know how to change a flat tire.

I bought 2x iPhone 6s Plus 64gb from Costco because of the buy one get one free deal and both are TSMC chip.

People who says TSMC vs Samsung makes no difference are in denial because they have Samsung chip.:D

Whachoo talking 'bout, Willis?

Your comment is absolutely not true, at least not in my case. My battery life (64gb iPhone 6S Plus, Samsung chip), is very good. I have ZERO issues about which chip I have. My phone easily gets me through the day, and I don't obsess over specs that do not affect my daily usage in any way, shape or form.

Apple themselves say 2-3% on average. http://arstechnica.com/apple/2015/10/samsung-vs-tsmc-comparing-the-battery-life-of-two-apple-a9s/

So on some usage it could be 10% and on others it could be 1%. Nobody knows cause they don't tell you the test parameters.
The way I see it, unless you are using the phones for intensive cpu tasks or benchmarking all day, the difference is small.
Whether or not you care about it is a different story. But the difference exists and just because it does affect you doesn't mean it's non existent. That's like being a climate change denier because you don't care about climate change or childhood obesity denier cause you're not fat!

You are in denial, LOL.

Have compared both personally?

I haven't been debating anything in this thread. I posted once two weeks ago when I bought my 128GB 6S+ and I really don't care about seeing the thread at the top. It's easy to just ignore it like any other that I'm not interested in.

Must not be that easy if you are posting in it now ... Take your own advise and ignore it smh

You know that thing you do every day called sleep? I always charge my phone while I'm doing that. My Samsung chip iPhone gets me through from one of those sleep things to the other.
I don't use my phone during the sleep thing. Do you?

I see nothing wrong with the Sammy chip.

How so?

Haven't seen anything in this thread to makes wish want to switch.

My usage is with LTE only. Pretty happy with that result.
I was just messing. I had Samsung with my original phone and I had no issue with it.
