Is this decent battery life for a Sammy?

With so much stuff disabled - no. Should be at least 8-9 hours with default settings. Signal strength has a lot to do with it too. Since i have no idea what is in your most often visited places i don't have a full picture.

I am surprised that one major point is never mentioned in terms of battery life. It depends whether you have an Apple Watch connected or not. With an Apple Watch connected and Bluetooth always on battery life is about 1 to 2 hours less than without an Apple Watch. This has much more impact than the stupid chip.

This isn't universally true; it all depends on how you use your phone and your watch. I've found I get easily 4-3 MORE battery hours per charge with the watch. This is because all my notifications are happening on the watch, and the phone's screen isn't lighting up each time, whether I'm looking at it or not. The energy savings from not powering the screen outweighs the energy spent on the low-power Bluetooth connection to the watch.

However, if you're NOT interacting much through your watch, and still check your phone a lot for notifications, then you wont' get any battery savings.

Two weeks ago, I ordered a 128GB rose gold 6S+ sim free from Apple and got the TSMC chip.

Wednesday, I got a 64GB rose gold 6S from T-Mobile and got the TSMC chip.

The headline says it all... Not much else needs to be said.
Not really. There is a provable difference. Whether or not it matters is up to the consumer.
Manufacturers can claim whatever they want but it's the consumer that puts their claims to the test.
But then again is is MacRumors where Apple's word is like gospel so pointing out something against Apple never goes well!

We're you responding to me?

I only said I had background refresh off.

What's not pictured is safari usage.

I always have poor signal strength, but good speeds.

I'm definitely noticing more battery life with my 6s plus with tmsc over the samsung I had a week ago. For one it takes alot longer to drop down from %100 after charging overnight when on the web. The samsung would drop after a few minutes. I just went 2 days without charging under moderate use and still had 40 percent left at bedtime. The samsung would have 25 percent with light usage over the same time period.

That's cause the battery gauge is not accurate. I can heavily use my phone for over an hour and half and it will still show 100%. Then when it is asleep for 5-10 minutes, it will drop 5-7% to properly represent how much battery was actually used.

I'm talking about with continuous use at 100 percent. They both were calibrated by letting then drain until they shut down and then charged fully.

Well I think the majority of iPhone owners would agree with me, and maybe a fraction of a percent of them may agree with you. But if you sleep better at night with a TSMC chip, then I'm happy for you.
Lol. I didn't know that the majority of iPhone owners are agreeing with you. Isn't that almost a billion people? Big responsibility on you shoulders......

This is indeed what bothers me the most with my 6s sammy iphone. The percentages of the battery are inaccurate and i can be in situations where the battery loses 1-2% in 2minutes after a relatively intense use in 4g or wifi (at constant battery percentage). I theoretically recalibrate the battery each time as i recharge the phone only when close to 1-2% remaining.
I am in holidays in roaming and the cells strength may be sometimes weak. I am unable to do more than 7h usage time (with about 50h stdby) per full charge.
Happy holidays to all of to all of you.

Most 64 GB 6S Pluses are Samsung and 128 GB 6S Pluses are TSMC.

16 GB is 50-50%

Lol. How am I responsible for what other people do or think?

My point was that the percentage of people concerned with this is miniscule. It's a non issue other than for a handful of people on this forum that love to have a "gate" to talk about.

The fact is that there is always variation in electronic components, and there are many in the iPhone. No two iPhones will have exactly the same performance across the board. If it makes you sleep better to think you have found the best performance in a single dimension of the device, among millions produced, then good for you.

" You can help me collect more samples by installing the app on your iPhone 6s"

Those stats mean really nothing. Millions sold, and only a few reported or even bother to download app. Meaningless. Please don't argue otherwise, because it won't wash.
