Can I just check in comparing between the both, which is “slimmer” and the case contours better and closer with the phone, thanks to advise! Between the Sheath and Tineeowl DuneX for 17 Pro Max

They will but case companies are going to cut corners and not make new cases. I've been told if it's a hard case, then you aren't going to feel the difference BUT if you are running a soft TPU style case, you might feel a VERY slight air gab/bubble around the camera plateau.

I've heard some different things but this seems pretty concrete from one diagrams I've been sent.
So the Tank case I have for my 17 PM, should fit for the 18 PM, if I am understanding correctly.

Today is The Tank Day 🥷🐐

Nomad has the lanyard attachment gap there on their cases. The rugged has it, too. They all have the little gap there.

But yeah, the bottom is a known weak point on the traditional case this year.
i have this wrist strap but it sucks. even with nomad cases it does not make the case sit flush at all.
The phone isnt fully popped in the case, which makes it easy to come out of the case.

Not likely. The Pro cases should fit, but Pro Max cases most likely won’t. The PM is going to have a thicker plateau due to the addition of a variable aperture main camera.
