iPod touch Which iPod touch 4G configuration is going to happen?

Technically.Apple made that already, it's called the iPhone.
Is it possible even that Jobs would consider making the ipod larger? Doesn't he call that a sin?
I truly hope you're wrong, I don't see much innovation that Apple could do with the iPod touch's design without changing the material that the back is made of.
Another thing: What does everyone think about the rumors of Apple holding their iPod event early this year, around August 17th? Personally, I'm hoping it's the truth, as my birthday is on the 17th.
(but in reality I think it's more likely to be late August-early September

Jobs? If he wants more customers/customer satisfaction he will not give us chrome.
Agreed. The chrome sucks. I hate the chrome on the back of my iPod Classic. It's been covered by an Incase smoke colored Snap Case since about 5 minutes after I got it. Haven't looked at it since. Messy finger print smudge magnet.
Snap and slide cases are especially terrible for chrome... so if i were you, i really wouldnt want to see that back.
I recently visited the Apple store in Pasadena, CA. This was somewhat exciting considering that there isn't an Apple store within a couple hours of my home town. With that information, it follows that I hadn't used an iPhone 4 before (I don't know anyone who owns one).
I tried the iPhone 4, and I couldn't have been more satisfied. I tried the "grip of death" over the bad spot. I wasn't able to drop it more than one bar. Hooray for the media over-reacting!!!
That said, I've changed my mind about the new design of the new iPod. With antenna problems essentially nonexistent as far as I'm concerned, I think the iPhone 4 design would be great in an iPod. Apple will just have to change a few key features about it to make it look a little less iPhone-ish, but it will be essentially the same design. Plus, they wouldn't have to worry as much about manufacturing different frame parts- a double bonus.
So my new design vote: iPhone 4 design, and not iPad.

Seconded. Iphone looks better without the curve. Ipods didn't used to have that annoying curved back.

I just looked after I read your post. It's been a month or two, and it's still spotless/markless. My chrome is good as new, and now it's packed away again in my Snap Case.

Slide cases I can totally see. Seeing how they... well... slide across the chrome. Maybe my Snap Case is particularly tight and unmoving. Who knows. Either way, I could care less if the chrome scratches, I just don't wanna look at it. lol.
