Yup here I am thinking, "alright! maybe today will be the day. can't wait for my white phone!" and I get this instead. Feels bad man.
if this was an awful thing to wake up to, imagine how Cleveland Cavalier fans who were too drunk to watch Lebron James` "decision" felt when they woke up and saw a traitor. (this is assuming people here like sports)
Thank goodness, another viable reason not to retire my white 3G iPhone until more production gigs are solved.

Besides, Apple really can't afford any more missteps with this new incarnation.Where this gets tricky for me and others I suppose is when iPhone 5 comes out if you have waited till end of year to get the white one, you are only 6-8 months into a new contract, and no way can you get the new one then.

Well yeah, but in all fairness if you're willing to wait until December (I'm not) then you should be happy enough with the white one. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
I'm not happy about the situation but I'll suck it up and move on.

my biggest upset is that people who have perfectly fine great condition iphones complain they can't buy the new hottest phone that isnt out until next year and isnt announced or anything because they absolutely have to have it. Dude, the iphone4 when its issues get resolved is an amazing phone. I have been on a 3g since it came out, and i am perfectly content with it, but this is just me i know people that hate their 3g now.

A lot of times I admit to being callous around here and not empathizing with the misery and disappointment of others.
But just this once I have to cut out the sarcasm and say that I really agree with this sentiment. Apple showed the White iPhone 4 some time ago. Then they delayed it until July. Now they've delayed it until "sometime" this year. If you were holding out on it, you have a right to be utterly and totally disappointed.
