Yes, clearly the white iPhone will be the first iP4 with an antenna fix. If there were manufacturing problems with white, they would have already shown up at the prototype stage.

And I didn't want white because it was harder to come by either. I've wanted white since my white 3G was stolen in May....before they even announced IP4.
I went without a phone for several weeks, until WWDC, and when I saw they would have them I decided to wait it out until release day. I just prefer white...hubby prefers black, it's easy to tell our phones apart this way. Yin & Yang? I don't know, but it works for us!
Because I'd been phoneless for so long I finally picked up a 3GS to use in the meantime, but it's looking less and less like white will ever be released so I may just get black iphone 4. It won't matter much because we will both probably be using cases this time anyway.

Its a 3 week wait if you don't want a contract and an ambiguous 'later this year' wait if you want a white one. I'm screwed because I'd rather pay for my phone than have it subsidised by my carrier and lose the option to upgrade inside of two years.
