I wish AT&T (We don't have Verizon or T-Mobile here) offered decent Android phones, i'd be done with iPhones at this point. To not give ANY explanation for the white iPhones not being available is a joke. Especially considering they gave no hint that they may not be available when the iPhone 4 was released. And almost a week later, we still hear NOTHING from Apple on the white iPhone 4.

Oh my god, no white iPhones, you must be devastated.

With ordering systems today there should be no reason Apple should be cancelling orders because lack of inventory. They must be cancelling them because of some issue with the individuals ATT agreement.

Did Not Like the White One Anyway

Glad I preordered the black one. I will believe I have one when it shows up at my door and not before.

Mine is still prepared for shipment. *fingers crossed and knock on wood*. I plan on taking half the day off on Thursday.

still good for me. They would have had NO reason to cancel mine.

End of contract. Paid online via apple for delivery on the 24th.

would be VERY pissed had it been canceled.

Apple should give at least $50 off and personally apologize to those people who have had their iPhone orders canceled.

Or ask them why they cry like children when they can't have something that is non-essential on the day of release.

Maybe this is intentional--to further hype up the drama.

"OOHH!! Too many orders! Beyond our WILDEST expectations! Which orders to fill? Who will be the lucky children with the 'golden ticket'?"

I went to the ATT store earlier today and I was told that they will have both models on hand for a few hours. I have several friends that work at bestbuy and I was told that 1/2 of the reason is because for some reason the system was still taking pre-orders for the iP4. So some of this is mainly backtracking. Im going on my camp out this coming Tuesday, seeing that I have days I can take off from my job and my roommate owns her own company so we are Gucci

Mine was cancelled. Just got this email from Apple:

Dear Customer,

We were unable to complete the authorization process for your iPhone
order. As a result, we had to cancel your iPhone order. To complete the
purchase of your iPhone, please visit an Apple Retail Store or an AT&T
company-owned retail store.

To locate an Apple Retail Store near you, please visit

We apologize for this inconvenience.

Sincerely,
Apple Online Store Team

my heart just stopped. looked at my order status and saw canceled. then i took a second look and saw it was my pink bumper that i had canceled. it's always been on my order status, even though i canceled it. phone still on schedule. shew.

Will the drama every end? I wonder if by not agreeing to AT&T terms and conditions they are talking about people that ordered or reserved more than one phone per line.

Started the process around 3am in California. No luck all morning. Tried AT&T and bombed out on their system. Finally got an order through Apple at 4:22 on the 15th.

On the 17th I get a confirm email from AT&T about my order going through. Even with the system bombing on me, their system actually took the order but no confirm for two days.

Immediately called Apple and then AT&T which resulted in canceling AT&T order so that I wouldn't have problem with two orders. Got cancel confirm notice right away.

Last night everything is fine delivery on the 24th. This AM my order at Apple cancelled. Trying to get it reinstated.

Once I had the whole situation sorted out turns out I was orginally given bad info from Apple, called At&T and they too gave me the wrong info. Turns out I should have never cancelled the duplicate order and Apple's would have cancelled automatically and AT&T order would have been fine.

Elligibility has now been reset trying to get Apple to reinstate the order. Won't know until Monday. Not pleased.

Collossal waste of many, many hours.
