White iPhone 4 to Finally Arrive By End of April

right on...why don't they just call this iPhone 5 and release it at WWDC. Still looks best in black
"F" it I want one... Sell this iPhone 4 32g and buy one out right pay difference. Saving my upgrade for iPhone 5
If this is coming in April I would find it strange to see an iphone 5 dilivery before next year. Still anything is possible. Nice to know there will be both black and white for release when 5 comes out.

I'd be more interested in how pictures look taken with a white iPhone as I heard that was a cause of concern as well, well at least according to Woz.
My 3g s died seven days ago, so I grudgingly upgraded to the iPhone 4. If the new white version comes out I might just sidegrade to it. The silver gray and white combination looks very cool.
That is why iPhone (4) sales will remain close to zero until the iPhone 5 introduction. A white iPhone 4 will not change that very much.

I wouldn't buy one with a two year contract. It makes no sense to be locked in with a phone that technically is already 1 year old unless you have a specific reason (e.g. your current phone breaks or gets stolen).
I wonder what Apples plan for iP5 are. It makes no sense to shift the release date because too many people have their contracts expire in June/July/August and won't buy a new phone until iP5 is out. That means the revenue that Apple could have had in June will be shifted by a few month and that is not good.

Glad for those that want the white iPhone; but prefer my cell phone in a darker color. But then this is from someone that really likes his iPad 2 in white!
I would wait to see what the "reviews" were before buying a white iPhone 4 for sure - but doubt that the issues that delayed it's release will be a real issue...
We pay the same monthly whether we pay $199 for the iPhone, or full price ($599)
There is no refresh anywhere on the horizon. In fact, the refresh is not coming for sure before September, and there is currently no indication at all at what point after September would it come.
If this state of affairs remains when the white is available for purchase, I am buying it. I just couldn't bring myself to buy the black 4 as I never thought that the design measures up to that "Apple pop" the way the white one does. So, my 3G is pretty beat up by now, and I never dared to upgrade to iOS 4 for fear it will slow it to a crawl, so I am well behind in apps too.
Plus, it looks like we are having trouble thinking up even a wish list for iPhone 5, which I suspect is the main reason why it's not coming soon: there is not much to add to iPhone 4 (except as I said before in design, which for my taste white fixes at least in the visual appeal).

Yup. Last week I was one of those at the Apple store buying the iPhone 4. I was hoping to hold off until v5.0 came out but my v3.0 iPhone decided that the time was now. In the 30 minutes that I was buying/activating the phone six other people were doing the same thing.
I swear Apple got more market share over the publicity about the delay than the actual delivery of the product. Remind me to delay a custom color of a new product so the press can bitch about it too. Well played in The Loop, well played!

And i'm still deciding whether I want to jump from the 3GS at this time or not. I mean, it still works.
This makes me sad. The palm pre part. It was a great phone, but unfortunately its hardware was terrible. It may have been to palm what the iPod was to Apple if only they hadn't slacked in that area. Quite a shame...

For my significant other, the 3GS is what they chose as a Valentine's Day gift... just a little upset that they are Jonesing for an iPad 2 ATT 3G right now. AFTER I explained the tethering option for the iPhone 4.
For them the 3GS is great - so far LOL They are now seeing that my advice for the iPhone 4 might have been a better choice; even if they stay with their MBA 11". Been together just under a year together; but it seems I am getting "tech points" on future tech gear purchases.
Just as I am gaining "points" on their choices in "home purchases".
