I have one! Only problem is that the Airport connection cuts out every few minutes and says I still have a full connection haha. But besides that, I love it. The 13" screen is much bigger than it sounds.

just got mine the other night and it does the same thing
its def an issue beecause my imacs airport doesnt time out

I bought mine about two and a half weeks ago. So far, so good... it works great! I love the giant trackpad with finger gestures, I had to use a USB mouse with my old Dell laptop because the trackpad was tiny and terrible.

I bought a replacement hard drive for my MacBook and it now works fine.I think it's faster too,it's a Seagate Momentus 5400rpm 250GB SATA HD.

So i'm guessing it was just the harddrive?
so far, nothing is wrong with my machine i'm loving this MacBook!
I'm still thinking over weather I should sell this and get a higher MacBook... possibly a PRO. But I doubt that my parents aren't going to allow me, even if I use my own money for this.

But so far I'm satisfied, I've been Playing Sims 3, L4D, Diablo 2 LoD, Call Of Duty 4 MWF, and Plants Vs .Zombie

how are the tops? are they very scratched? the bottom rubber, does it dis-color easily? dirty?

Does the apple store sell something like the invisible shield?

Didn't you have warranty?
I have somehow an "issue" with the hdd or something..I feel this macbook slow, and I know it is not because of the specs..
After some 10 xbenches I came to one bench that showed me something like 10 times less mb/s than the "normal"...but that is the problem,it is a "random" problem..
Guess if my warranty doesn't work I'll put this drive on an enclosure an give it a 7200rpms 320gb hdd..

I'm back to my old HD.It wasn't the HD after all,it was a virus and the fan was not working well and the computer was overheating, fixed both issues and it's fine now.Never take software from a friend.

what do you mean by slowdown?

it sort of lags when it open stacks.
I completely shut down my computer.
I plugged in the charger, and I let it rest for a while.
Now it's fine. I was just worried yesterday, it was like major lag, Even scrolling through my apps through stacks was horrible.

All the macbooks except the aluminum ones scratched way to easily. That is the Main reason to get the MBP. I have been pretty careful with mine and keeping it clean and stuff and you can see the swirl marks only at certain angles in certain lights.

But to stop further marks I am thinking about getting this . If anyone has used one please let me know what you think.

I've used the bodyguardz film, and I absolutely love it. I was getting palm scratches after about a month of use and so I decided to cover it.

The first application was DISASTROUS. I got cocky since I did my touch and my boyfriend's, no problem, but dealing with 13 inches is intense. Watch the video, go slow, be patient. And they say that if you stick anything to it you can't get it unstuck, but with water you can clean off the film if you get fuzz or anything on it.

Had to get my first Mac replaced for a faulty trackpad, so I ordered another bodyguardz, which customer service sent me for free since my account wasn't showing my order in the auto-renewal thing. Great customer service, and the second application went much better.

It's been on about a week and there are still a few small bubbles, which I'm not sure whether or not they'll eventually come out, but they're tiny and don't bother me. I forget the film is on most of the time and no one has ever noticed it. I'd definitely recommend it.

My new MacBook Unibody came in the mail last night. I kicked it up to 4GB or RAM and a 320HDD. So far the thing is a beauty, I'm in love. Having used windows my entire life I'm just going to focus on lerning the OS before I dive all the way in! So far so good though, enjoying my new Mac

Condition?? Like how, is it dirty? Im a pretty clean person, always wash my hands. Plus the wife is a cleaning nazi in the house. I think I'll be fine. She has an 08 white macbook, hers looks brand new and its in the same environment mine will be in so I'll assume I'll be okay, sorry about your luck though.

I'm a clean freak once i get to my macbook...
anyways, you'll be fine.
Just wash your hands everytime, before/after you use your macbook, clean it weekly/daily?

anyways, any tips on how to clean the LCD?
i haven't touched the LCD, but it seems to be getting some smudges?

Mine is horribly scratched up on the entire case and the bottom case is discolored, all I do is use it and ocationaly take it out and about,i have it in a thick laptop bag though and I even have a neopreme sleve it's in inside the bag,of and my hinges are screwed up from falling off my bed to the floor a foot away.I'm really disappointed and fear it will be dead within a year. The lid rubs really bad and now my wifi is as fast as it used to be when I got it.My first Intel Mac and I have tons of problems.

I absolutely love my MacBook - the keyboard is great and for years I've only typed (fast) with my 2 index fingers, and because of the spaced keys it has allowed me to learn to type with all my fingers. Fantastic!

The only problem (and it might just be me though, cause my friend has the same MacBook and has no problems) is if my finger becomes moist when I glide my finger over the trackpad to use it, its not smooth (if there's a word to describe it its juddery), only when my fingers are moist. Does anyone have this problem?

So I got a best skins ever complete body skin today. Should come in the post by Saturday. I've done my iPhone a ton, am curious if skinning the new macbook will prove troublesome. Either way, I just want to keep the baby pristine, I plan on having her a while. Between the bestskinsever clear shield, and my incase padded case, I am all good. Love my new UniMacBook..

So does anyone know why sudden smudges on the screen shows?
I don't let anyone touch my MacBook, and I haven't even touched the screen ever since i got it...

it's kind of getting annoying
but i still ove this machine
