I've been lurking this website for years and I decided to make an account for people, like myself, who need at least someone in their area to reference how it is at a T-Moble corporate store.
I got here literally a couple minutes ago, it is 5:10 am now. I am at the T-Mobile located in downtown LA, nestled in between the city and USC. I am seeing all the posts here about no Plus models being available.. I'm not expecting anything when the employees roll around in about 2 hours from now. HOWEVER, when I called yesterday a store employee told me that they have one (1) 256 Gb Plus in Black. When I visited the store right before closing, I was told that the "rumor" was that this store would be receiving 3 of each model because it's a higher volume store for the Los Angeles area. I don't expect this to be true.
It should be noted that I did call at 12:00 on the dot last Friday for pre-order and all my information was taken countless just to find that there was a glitch in the system for my account specifically. The rep passed me over to a manager who told me that they had to get their engineers involved because my account wouldn't allow for an order to be placed, which pushed me back to a mid-October shipping. Quite frankly, I was pissed but counted on there being availability for Plus models at carrier stores... so we'll see how this goes.
