Yeah I have the same problem with my barbell, I can't get it off either.

I have nine piercings, all barbells in my right eart, they just line up on the outside of my ear. On my left ear I have an Industrial and three on the lowerpart. I also just got my lip pierced!! that is what i'm having trouble with, i want to put in a stud, but i can't get the ball off, and I can't but the disk on the back on either... so i'm stuck right now with the one they pierced it with.

Just lower left ear (done at a mall in Rhode Island in the fall of 89) and upper right ear cartilage done by Tod Almighty at Staircase in Santa Cruz.

Got my right ear done on Mother's day of 2003. Was not planning the day, just out for a bike ride and had been thinking about it for a long time.

That is all for me, I like them, but I don't want more.

Some pics are definitely NSFW!

Nothing on me.

Not even my earlobes, and I am a girl.

Thought about a few times and said to myself wait three months, by then I was not interested anymore.

I am thinking of a UV tattoo though...with a subdermal

I'm trying to work up the courage to get my septum pierced. It's the only thing I'm interested in sticking metal through. I don't want to go to the palor alone though. I even have a coupon (a gift) for a free piercing + jewelry. Don't have the balls to go without someone to hold my hand. >.<

Nothing too exciting for me. Just my upper ear. Wanting to get a second one though.

My girlfriend on the other hand has had quite a few... Both ear lobes twice, her nose, her tongue, her belly, the back of her neck, and her wrist. All out except her tounge and occasionally her ears.

My ears, of course. Two piercings in each ear, though I don't know why I did that, I only put one earring in each ear.

I've been thinking about getting my navel peirced, but I'm not quite decided on that yet.

im wanna put in my 14ga barbell. whats the best way to stretch from 16 to 14. and which barbell is better the metal one or the plastic one i have. both externally threaded. came out of a 4 pack i bought at hot topic.

Pierce your other ear then you can even it up :D Dont mind me...my mother had her hair cut in a way that there is now a long piece on one side and not on the other and its driving me batty

I put my 14ga barbell in last week. was a little sore for about a day, did sea salt soaks for first 5 days. now i just clean w/ antbacterial soap daily. but i am going to buy some h2ocean spray soon. and some 14g pinchers and plugs. and a 12g taper/ plug set.

did you read those sites i linked you to? please do before you end up with a bad piercing.

h2ocean is not good for piercings and antibacterial soap doesn't do much at all.
clean water and antimicrobial soap is what you need.

and don't even try stretching to 12g for at least another 4 weeks.

ya i read the sites. ive been doing sea salt soaks w/ distilled water. and i dont plan on stretching till around mid november to late december. im going out to get some anti-microbial soap tomorrow. also is it ok to use lucite pinchers/plugs, i read that you absolutely cannot use alcohol on them jus warm soap and water. but are they ok to wear if you take them out everyday and clean them.

if you can, find some jojoba oil for helping with the stretching. it'll loosen your skin and help overall.

I am a guy, and a couple years ago i got my left ear pierced. It was short lived however as i let it close up about 6 weeks later, but i sorta miss those days...

Have
10mm Stretched Ear Lobes
1.6mm Left side lip piercing (half closed)

Had
3.2mm septum
1.6mmsnakebites
16mm lobes
1.6mm nostril
1.6mm eyebrow
3mm nipples
4mm Prince Albert

im going to put sme jewelry in my lip again soon, and possibly get my nipples redone

oh and i think that the fact im a piercer explains the multitude of piercings

also in relation to stretching

1mm a month, thats the general rule of thumb
dont get all preachy about it
but everyone heals differently
i mean when i first started stretching i went from 1mm to 4mm in one day
and that hurt, but it didnt screw up
so listen to your body if your stretching, do salt water soaks and use good quality jewelry

None, and I probably never will. Gotta agree with the poster who doesn't like metal on skin. I don't entirely mind that, it's when it goes through skin *cringes*

I have my left cartlidge pierced twice. And I had my eybrow pierced, but it got rejected... I tried it again a year later behind the scar tissue and had that one in for a year but it never really healed up so I took it out about a month ago...

Let me see, all my ear piercings are BCR's
left ear, 3 in the lobe, one at the top in cartilidge, one half way
right ear, 3 in the top in the cartilidge
right eyebrow, curved bar,
nose stud

I also used to have my right nipple done and a lip ring. The lip ring never really healed, which was a shame as it was my favourite, came out for an iterview once and I couldn't get it back in.

I have a piercing singing voice.

Very funny. :p

I got my ears pierced when I was about 16, added another hole in one lobe a few years later, then yet another. The third hole I let close up - three was excessive, I thought - but I recently started using the second hole again. The first two holes were done by a doctor with a piercing gun (I'd recommend needles now, but at the time I felt safe about hygiene since it was a doctor), and the other two were done at malls with guns (again, go to a studio where they use needles - that's what I'd do now).

Then this last summer, at the age of 42, I got a nostril piercing. I've always thought they looked so elegant, and I was visiting a friend who could recommend a good studio in New Hampshire. I was impressed, they did a good, professional job. I had to start with a ring for a few weeks, and it was hard to get it out on my own, but I managed. Don't want to use rings, only bones. The hole healed well and fast, but I had a few weird weeks where I kept ripping the bone out at night in my sleep! I'd wake up as I as flinging it across the room. Very weird.

It's still only a few months old, so I try to remember to remove, clean, and replace the bone about once a week, just so the hole stays easy to navigate.

I'd follow PoD's advice about cleaning etc, by the way, he knows what he's talking about. :)

I'm a guy and have both my ears done.

One is just pierced, the other is stretched to 4mm as of yesterday and I plan to go to around 8 or 10.

Pierced both myself at home, just pushed a stud through.

I have my ear lobes pierced three times, and when I was 16 I had pierced the side of my lip with a ring, but it closed a long time ago because my father made me take it out. I originally planned to get it re pierced when I turned 18, but by that point I had grown out of piercings which is probably what my father hoped would happen.
