Who has piercings?

I have one piercing on each ear. Got them done when was 13 for my aunt's wedding. I wouldn't mind getting a belly button ring but then I ask myself why?

My cousin has piercings everywhere. Eyebrow, nose, tongue, lip, ears (multiple) ... and who knows where else. He then got a girlfriend and took them out. I personally don't like piercings on men.
 
in the last week ive done about 15 ear piercings, 10 of them on cartilage,
its the best sound when you do it, you hear the crunch and its great

Do you do many navels on guys? I've got mine done, it's the only bit of jewelery I wear (except my wedding ring) but I get a lot of weird looks when I tell people about it (they mainly think that navel piercings are not the domain of a straight man!) I also seem to be the only guy in here with his navel.

i have done a few on guys, i had mine done but i just couldnt keep it because of some other reasons.

but there are a fair few with it done
 
My boyfriend had 4's in both ears, and he DID have his nipples pierced, and he wanted to pierce them again. But since we started dating, I conned him into shrinking down to an 8, but now the 8's are getting tight because he keeps forgetting to wear them (his fault, not mine!).

I'm glad the 'big' holes in his ears are gone, though.
With that, I also got him to erase the goatee (on normal days), ditch the mohawk and go to a fauxhawk, and buy some new shirts.

Haha he looks much cuter.
 
What's the difference between US and UK/AUS stretch sizes, we measure them in millimeter what do americans measure them in?

My ear has a 6mm stretcher in now.
 
i have my ears pierced, but havent worn any earrings in about a year.(its been a year since ive been out of college and have a real job) i had my lip pierced (when i was in college) but had to take that out b/c of parents (who paid for said college).

i stretched my ears up to 6 gauge when i was wearing earrings, but right now i can only fit like a 16 or 18 gauge in. i miss the piercings and kinda want more. . . stupid real world and real job :-/ least with my tattoos i can cover them up with clothes for work. i should get more tattoo work done, as soon as i can think of another tattoo i want.
 
just did some fun little surface piercings on the back of my hand, they were only supposed to be play piercings and thats what they were, they are all out now, here are some pictures (they are in a photobucket slideshow and im not sure if it will work or not, though it was worth a try)

 
I'm Jess and I'm 18. I've had both of my ear lobes pierced for a while. I originally got them pierced when I was like 8 years old but I accidently let them grow shut so I had to get them re-pierced when I was like 12 or 13. And I have an Industrial in my right ear but I still have the barbell in it that it was pierced with. I have to find a cool one to put in it now that it is healed.

I might add more in the future, but I'd probably get a tattoo before I got another piercing.

Tongue piercings kind of freak me out, so I will never have one. Eyebrow is a possibility in the future. I like how lip piercing look but I've heard a few horror stories about lip piercings so I probably wouldn't go there.

I'm happy with what I have for now.

Well the story that scared me the most was one that my friend Betsy told me. Ok, so Her friend Max had already had one side of her lip pierced and she went to go get the other side done. Everything was ok for a few hour, but when she went to rotate it and care for it, it basically exploded with blood. Betsy had pictures on her phone and she showed me. She lost quite a bit of blood. It was groos. Apparently whoever pierced it hit an artery or something.

That just scares me.

i had a case of that kind of thing this a couple of weeks ago, guy flinched when i was halfway through his lip with the needle, and misangled it, and a couple of days later he said his lip was turning purple so we took it out and im repiercing it soon, its not that common but it still happens.

and rotating it? that is one thing your not supposed to do with any piercing when its trying to heal, it can rip apart a piercing because of all the crusties there are actually hard and will rip it apart


you just have to be brave when you get pierced, dont move, and find a piercer that has done many lip piercings before, unless you trust them alot and you want to be experience for them.
 
My ear lobes are officially gauged to an 18. Yay!

I'm not sure if I'll go to 14 (the size of my Industrial), but I'm thinking about it.
 
I'm thinking about getting my navel pierced. I'm trying to find somewhere that does it with local anasethetic. Does it really hurt without one?

there is no need for anesthetics at all. while i haven't had my navel pierced, i've seen it done plenty of times and know plenty of people who have had it done. its like a sharp pinch is how its been described to me. take good care of it and it'll heal fine and you're set.

I had mine done without anesthetic, my sister in law got her with.
An ice cube, a deep breath and in it goes, it's not that sore as there isn't many nerve endings in the flap of skin it goes through. You feel it the day after, but everybody does with or without!

I give blood and often the anesthetic is more painful than the needle!
