Who is happy with their Black iPhone 5 purchase?

I'm supremely happy with the Black. I have a tiny mark on the chamfered edge. Only noticeable if you get really close. It's been in and out of my pocket for the past 6-7 hours and no other scuffing. And good lord that display is gorgeous!

Same with mine, it's about 2mm across the edge but it's only visible from certain angles in bright light - it isn't the silver coloured. I can live with it.

Although now I have a 16GB, I am half tempted to swap it for a 32.

Black is stunning.
 
The scuffing whining is silly. No it doesn't happen from being in your pocket. Put a case on it if you are worried about it.
 
Nice thread for me-- thanks! I really like the design. I have one on order in the Oct 5 group, but look at the Cancel button every time I check the order status du to all the scuffing discussion. But the black is so nice . . .
 
Before you examine it too closely, drag it around on the ground...trust me you'll feel a lot better. Its like finding a hotdog that someone took a bite out of. You bite the other end, then spin it around.
 
I am very happy with my iPhone 5. Used it all day and no wear. It came with a few small blemishes but they are so minute that I consider them factory variances. iPad 2 light bleed was a much worse issue.
 
I love my black 32 GB iPhone 5! I won't have to worry about the scuffing because I am going to be using it in a "Barely There" Case-Mate case at all times. Also, the last phone that I used was never dropped so I don't think I will have to worry about broken screens. I'm using a Spigen Ultra Crystal Screen Protector and it looks amazing. It's like there is nothing on my screen. Definitely recommend those. :)

Please tell me we aren't going to have to hear people using the word chamfered all the time now. Ugh!
 
I do not have mine yet and I do want white but I wanted to see what all the huffing was about and went into the apple store to see. These were ones that have been played with all day and no scratches. I even took my nail to scratch it and nothing. I also cannot believe how incredibly small these marks are compared to the phone. Oh we'll. I can understand wanting it perfect but some of it is overkill.
