Guess I’ll be heading out to the Apple store in a few minutes. Just got my delay text message from B.B., new get by date is 12/2! are you kidding me? Never again. Ordered silver 256 g at 0309.

Did your order status say ready for pick up and then it was delayed?

No it was preparing since 0950 this morning, never went to shipping. Was having it shipped to home, which may have been the problem. I see lots of pickup at store that went through on time.
 
Hmm mine just went from Processing - Pre-Ordered on the details page to Processing - Order Received. It was a Nov 10th store pickup, Could I be getting it early? Or is it just because it's past midnight it's not considered a pre-order anymore?

FYI - for the 11/10 people, check the product page and see if your nearby stores got any in. I was able to go to the “change” order section and select a different store (only 10-15 mins further away) and it said available for pickup today. Other stores said 12/15.

I didn’t change it though - I created a new order just to be safe (in case my old one at the closer store magically updates in the morning). So my new order I just placed a few minutes ago for the different store already says “Preparing” whereas my old order still says “Order received”.

Also I’m purchasing outright, so I did not enter any carrier information. If you entered carrier info, you’ll probably want to switch stores on your current order, to avoid your account having a lock and the order not going through.

If neither of these go through for tomorrow morning pickup, my other option is going to Verizon at 8 am, as they said they got some in but couldn’t disclose how many until 7 in the morning if there’s a line. I told him to put a list up so people would know whether it’s worth waiting, but I don’t think he listened, haha.
 
I just checked Best Buy in Houston area and several stores had phones available for pick up on the 3rd. I was surprised. So I went ahead and ordered and picked a store near my job for pickup on the 3rd. Lets see if I actually get it now LOL

Ha same here (post right above yours). Although I just went back and checked again, and now they all say 12/15. Weird because just a few minutes ago at least 3 or 4 nearby had 11/3 pickup date. I wonder if I got lucky, or if it was a fluke and it’ll get cancelled...
 
Damn most of the stores by me say pickup today. Not gonna change it, was just testing separate of my order cause I’m worried it’ll mess things up, but I’ll try calling in the morning if my order status doesn’t change cause that’s weird.

It was worth a shot...now the store I chose says 11/15 but there are others that still say available. Looks like other people are ordering now that it shows available for pick up. I bet by morning they'll all say 11/15. Guess I'll wait and see.
 
And Best Buy sent my 256GB Space Grey phone via UPS Ground. Sigh. Next week for that one.

"We're sorry – your ordered item(s) are taking longer to fulfill than we anticipated.

Please be assured we'll continue to work on this order, and once the item(s) become available we will let you know. If we are not able to complete your order by December 02, 2017, we will notify you and cancel the item(s). "

They did this same exact thing the night before the ATV4K was due to arrive at my home and I still received it the day of. Dealing with customer service was a nightmare as they had little to no information to offer. Hopefully this will provide hope to some who receive the same message.
 
BB down to 3 stores that still say available in the Houston area....people must be buying online now.

That sucks. What was your original date?

You may want to check the website and see if other nearby stores might have one for 11/3 pickup (see our posts right above yours).

Wow! Good tip! Hawthorne CA has a few available for pickup tomorrow! Unfortunately I have plans for tomorrow and that’s an 80 mile drive from where I live though =/
 
Now all of Houston BB stores say 11/15 or 12/15 depending on the model you want. That was fast lol

I was like... what?! :eek: And immediately went back to my order to change it. Then I decided not to, and placed a new order instead, just to be safe, lol.
 
I would like to place another order from B.B. for a Verizon phone but it won’t let me because I placed an order through Apple. I’m considering canceling my Apple order so I can reorder through BB. Does anyone know if I’ll be able to reorder immediately through B.B. if I cancel my Apple store order?

Why are you considering via BestBuy? For their reward points?
