I originally had a 5s for a few months before upgrading to the 6.

Who else is still holding on to an older model?

I own a 5S Space Grey. Still remember the first time I was holding one three and a half years ago and being mesmerized by the build quality and its look. I’ve considered switching to 7 Plus for a while after playing with it in Apple Store but decided to hold out for September X/Edition or whatever they’ll call it (5" screen in a 4,7" package seems tempting). Still 5S is a thing of beauty in my opinion.

Still have a 3G,3GS and 4s. Just use them for fun sometimes. They all still work great. Really want a nice 2g

I inherited my wife's 5S gold because she got the 7 plus. Now the 5S is mine as a secondary and my 7 as my primary. 5S is still on 9.3.4 , I am thinking to update to the current IOS. Is it stable yet or should i wait the update? Now my 5S is still in cherry condition and would come in handy incase Of emergency of any kind.

my 5s is on 10.2.1 and pretty stable, never noticed performance decrease going from 9.3.4 to any version of 10.

10.3 will be released shortly and supposed to be much quicker.

I originally had a 5s for a few months before upgrading to the 6.

Was disappointed in the 1gb ram and had to eventually sell it but promised myself I would return for the 10th iphone (Iphone 7). In the mean time I bought a 5s to wait and eventually bought a 7, but decided to return it and get the 10th anniversary model instead as the rumours kept pointing to this being the big update.

I have the original iPhone, now in the original box; purchased the day they were released. The memories of absolutely no line and the AT&T employee seemingly startled that someone wanted one.

I just upgraded from my 5s to an SE two days ago. I went 4s, 5, 6, 5s and planned to stay on that for the long term. Just found an incredible deal on an SE that I couldn't pass up, but I was content on the 5s and could have kept going on it.

5s for my wife and for me. Still lag/stutter-free. Pictures look good, everything works smoothly - what's the point in changing yet? Good size for pockets while seated. Like bigger screens until I have to put them away. When the 5s starts to lag noticeably, I'll move on.

(Oh, and they were only $150 new - that's a plus. :) )

I still use an iPhone 5 every day. It can still mostly do what I want it to do, but the battery life it pretty terrible, and it noticeably lags compared to my fiancé's 6s. My mom still has a 5s, and my dad and brother have SE's. They don't do anything really taxing on their phones, so those are all good enough. I think I will be joining my fiancé on T-Mobile soon with a pair of iPhones 7's. His Jump plan is coming due next month, and I'm way overdue for an upgrade. I don't think I can wait until September.

SE for me and will probably keep it until it dies!
Yeah , I often smile when I see people who are still using ip4, 4s, 5,5s outside the US, mostly in some asian countries. Maybe the latest iphones are still too expensive and are sold full retail price, unlike in the US we can buy with a contract that would cost bellow $300 as compare to full retail.

My sister still uses my old 4s because she doesn't want anything larger. When it dies I hope there is still a similar size iPhone around. She refuses to go larger!

I still use 64GB 5S. All scratched and dented around from all kinds of accidents. It even took short swim in ocean with me. I took it apart and only replaced buttons. This thing just won't die.

Both my fiancé and I still have and use our iPhone 5 with 16 GB.

We both had the same phone model when we me. And we both still use them as our only cell phones.

As for holding out for a new iPhone, neither of us has any intention of buying new phones. Our current phone do everything we need them to do.

If anything, I lose more interest in new phones as I watch each new release. Simply nothing of interest in any of the newer models. Personally, I find every new model to be even less appealing to own.

As long as our phones continue to work, I won't be replacing them.

I use an iPhone 5s (main phone) and iPhone 6 until my iPhone SE comes in.
