iPad mini Who will be lining up for the iPad mini?

The line at my best buy store that opens in 55 minutes lol. There is no line. I am shocked! Damnit, I could have slept in.

About what I expected. No way am I gonna stand in line outside for an hour in 30 degree temps. I'm leaving a little before 8 after a decent breakfast.
I may not be the first there but I'll get what I want and be comfortable doing it.
 
Don't blame you. For now, I am waiting in my car.

Six people in line at Best Buy in Noblesville Indiana. Everything in stock except mini smart covers

I'm waiting on UPS to get my black 64 gb Mini iPad. I'm on my iPad 2, which I will be selling. Also have a black 32 gb iPhone 4S (yep, keeping that).
On the color, personal preference. Get the one you like best :) hope you post back after you get it.
 
I got to my local Best Buy at 7:15 am and there wasn't a line at all, not even when it opened, I was the first one in and got a mini. They had plenty of stock as well

The "waiting in cars" game is always funny because a dozen cars sit there with everyone waiting for that first jerk who starts the line way earlier than necessary.

BTW. I ordered a Black Slate Smart Cover on 10/28 and it got delayed to ship from Oct30 to Nov9 so just to be safe then if you want one then you may want to pick it up now.

You are so right about the waiting in cars game. I, sometimes, wait till I see someone open their car door, then I run for the door and end up being the first one :D
 
I had mine shipped but changed my mind and wanted White so I went to an Apple Store.

Just got back. Only 20 people in line. In and out in 5-10 mins. (I also got there right when they opened)
 
Got a 16gb. My best buy only got five of each model and black only. Went to do a return and they said I was past the return time ( which I was, but didn't realize) so I did an in-store credit and a light bulb went off in my head that I would only have to pay 28 extra dollars to get a 32gb out of pocket, so returned the 16gb right there, for a 32gb.

I think I made the right decision. I just wish they would have had smart covers.

Returned an item. I thought that I would get cash back but was past return date. They gave me store credit instead. With store credit I only had to pay 28 dollars to get 32gb instead of 16gb

No line at the Southpark location in Charlotte, NC. In fact, considering that it was nine o'clock on a launch day, it was the emptiest I've ever seen my Apple store since it opened years back.
 
Literally nobody bought an iPad 4 or even cared about it. I think Apple launched it too soon.
 
Ardmore was quick and painless. Except for those damn scalpers. One guy even had the nerve to ask the employee to sell him a white version even though he got a card for a black and there were no more white cards available. Seriously?
 
There was a line at the Lenox Apple store in Atlanta this morning but as of 8:15, the line disappeared. They seem to have plenty in stock except for the white 64GB model.
