Just gonna wait a few weeks to hear back about any issues with the new machine. Oh and to watch the WWDC for leopard. After that i'm probably going to invest in the entry level model with a 160GB hard drive upgrade! As much as i'd like the mid range model it isn't worth 500 euro for 128MB extra graphics ram and 0.2GHz faster processor.

I'm a graphic designer, and i was going to get the 17" high def one. Somebody said the LED ones had better colors? Does that mean truer colors? I'd rather have a bigger screen, but if the LED screens are better i should probably get one of those. Any suggestions?

Yeah i might have to. I have 2 stores that are both about 45 minutes from me.
This has probably been asked a million times, but, can the stores change the specs (like give me 1 2GB stick instead of 2 1GB sticks for a little more cash?) I doubt it, since apple likes to charge 3X the price for RAM.
I'm buying one. But I will wait for the stores in Denmark to have it, so I can see the difference on the displays and decide if I have to wait for the 17'' to get LED too.
Can't wait to get my hands on one though :-D

Ok so i'm heading out in about two hours to the apple store and was wondering if anyone know for certain from past experience that the retail stores will have them. i'll be outside of the store before they even open so i can't call ahead and ask its only 10 mins drive but i don't want to go there if they aren't gonna have em'

Quite honestly, I'm underwhelmed. Like the recent MB update, more of a refresh than anything else. Not that it isn't a rockin' machine, but nothing there really screams to me to replace the new Blackbook. Mebbe next time...
I am. I have been ready to buy for a few weeks now and since I waited I am getting 2GB of RAM, a slightly faster CPU with all the Santa Rosa benefits at no additional charge.

If by refresh you mean updating the platform, graphics card (BIG update), processor, hard drive, and back lighting method (BIG update), then yes it was a refresh.
