As soon as the store resumes i'm grabbing the low end one for a grand.

How about you?

I ordered an 11.6" base model for $999, but upped the RAM to 4gb. Ordered as soon as the store opened. Because of the custom configuration, I'm still at 'not yet shipped.'

As a former 12" Powerbook user, and MacBook Air Rev. A and B owner, I am geeked about it.

Not in store today in MD

Was walking by Bethesda Row store. None in stock today. Staff did not seem to know much yet.

Older models still on display floor.

Don't really need the extra RAM and storage, but figured I might in the future.

I'll most likely be ordering next June, but I'll be getting:

13.3"
2.13GHz C2D
4GB DDR3
256GB SSD
320M
AppleCare

All for $1,912+tax. Not too bad if you ask me. I'm enthralled at the lighter machine, thinner, 2 USB ports, better screen, better battery, better trackpad, less of a need for the SuperDrive, and more.

I'm already approved, I just want to see if it would be better for me personally if I get it at Best Buy or the Apple store. Money isn't the issue, it's convenience.

Yea I was just asking how hard is it to get approved lol and what the average credit score for approval was, if you know.. Money isn't an issue for me either, since I get the full amount in 3 weeks. It'd just be nice to get it 3 weeks early.

i keep forgetting its 1440X900, which is a great thing. But also disappointed it has no back-lit keyboard.

Can you check your order status, I have ordered the same model exactly as you, but on my order it states this:

MBAIR 13.3/2.13/4/128FLASH

Where it shows 2.13 it should say 1.86 like it says below:

Custom configuration

1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
128GB Flash Storage
Keyboard/User's Guide-GBR
COUNTRY KIT-GBR

I'm thinking this might be what we buy for my daughter. Her current notebook is from 2006 and is a little long in the tooth. We've been looking but nothing has really jumped out at us. She and I saw this today and were both excited about it. The reality is that I'll wait for a bit. There was a time when I would have just jumped right in and placed my order. However, I've lost a great deal of confidence in Apple over the past few years and will wait until others start getting there's to see if any of the inevitable engineering issues are showstoppers for us. Only then will I order.

I went ahead and ordered an 11 incher with 4 gig of ram. Does anyone think i'll have a problem with photoshop and Logic 9 on it? I know the screen size is not ideal. But i wanted the portability and lightness.
