Who's Iphone-less? (sold early)

Shipping my wife's out tomorrow and I hope to have mine sold by the end of the week. Just bought two craptastic Nokias for 30 bucks each.
 
I sold my 3gs on eBay on Sunday, shipped it out yesterday. $460 shipped! Ebay and paypal fees take $45, and the shipping cost me over $15, so I'm down to $400.

What sucks is I'm now using my dad's old treo 750. Don't know how I'm going to make it another two weeks with this thing.

Yeah, ebay/paypal fee sure do take a lot of chunk off the sale.
 
It sucks for sure but just think about how freaking awesome that Iphone 4 is going to feel after downgrading to ANY other cell phone.

I'm Iphone-less due to losing my phone back in early May or sometime around then. Since then, i've been using a Samsung flip phone I bought for $30. They canceled my data plan also, but as soon as they made the announement about the "grandfathering" I signed up for that data plan again ASAP, even though I don't use it. Hopefully that worked.
 
Sold mine last weekend and I'm now using a Sony Ericsson w580i. It's incredibly painful and June 24th can't come fast enough. It takes me about 3 minutes just to check my email on this phone (if it even loads).
 
just sold my 16gb 3GS this morning for $370. I sold it with an invisible shield and some other extras. I'm happy with it. After paypal fees and ebay fees I'll still have made about a $120 profit after getting the new iPhone for FREE essentially. That should buy my 'bumper' and then some =].

I'm not too upset that its gone. I have my original iPhone to tide me over for the next 2.5 weeks.
 
I locked in a price for our 3G + 3GS at gazelle.com yesterday. I won't be sending them the phones until we get the new ones.
 
So just checking, if I sell mine and send it out in the next couple of days and use a old samsung phone for a couple of weeks with my old SIM, I shouldnt have to do anything in terms of plan fixing or anything right? Like I wont lose my unlimited data plan or anything right?
 
I sold my 32 GB 3gs last Wednesday (3.1.2, blacksn0w unlocked) for $500 on Craigslist with just original box and USB cable.

Looking at CL now I see 32 GB 3gs going for $350... I'm thinking i could break even selling it after the iphone 4 comes out.

I am almost tempted to buy another one to use because I'm currently using a Sony Ericsson K700i.. does not even support 850 band for AT&T!!
 
Sold my 8 GB 3G for $250 over a week ago. I'm using an old flip phone now but not really using it. AT&T can tell which phone you are using without even calling them so rather than hoping they won't take my data plan off, I just have my phone off until the iPhone 4 comes out. I keep it around for emergencies but now I plan ahead like I used to do before cell phones came out. It hasn't been too bad but it would be nice to have the convenience of the iPhone again. Only 16 more days.

I think the only affects those out of contract, right? No way would AT&T take away my data plan when I'm still required to pay it for 2 years.
 
I sold my 3GS 32gb for $450 on craigslist. Third phone sold to a foreigner. I couldn't take it any longer without the iPhone so in the meantime I've ordered a Sprint Evo 4G to tide me over until the 24th. (utlizing the 30 day return policy). Gives me a chance to explore Android and realize the grass isn't greener on that side.
 
just sold my 3GS yesterday and now I am using an LG vu until the 24th :mad:

for those asking my att account shows the vu under my number but my unlimited data plan is still there and I don't think its going anywhere
 
I just recycled my 8gb 3G back in April for just short of £200. Got a HTC Desire and then hated it after a week so I sold it and bought a 3GS on eBay - turned out it was stolen so got a refund for it and now I'm using an £8 LG something (the main feature on the box is "loud speaker"!!). Needless to say I'm desperate for the iPhone 4 and struggling to keep the money away from my girlfriend!

I'm writing this on her 3G by the way, so I'm not completely without the iPhone goodness :)
 
Nope. Selling my PSP to pay for a iPhone 1G. It'll be a good week or so without any internet connection but the 1G will hold me down until Obama finds me a job. :rolleyes:

Hmm. Which one. I already use GV so the new number won't be a problem.

I don't care about the price as much as dealing with the loonies on CL or eBay. This way I don't have to deal with that and both phones are in pristine condition so they quoted a good price. I may change my mind, but either way, my phones will not be going anywhere until the new ones are in hand. :rolleyes: ;)
 
I'm just going through buymytronics, I know I'll get less than ebay but I don't want to deal with the hassle or have any possibility of getting scammed. I don't have a backup phone, but would you recommend sending it off at least a few days before the 24th? I don't want their offer to end up dropping significantly.
 
I kind of have a problem... I have been without my iPhone 3g for about 4 months now... and the reason for this is because it stopped syncing/charging, I was told it was because of water damage, by the genius, but dont ever remember getting it wet, anyways thats besides the point. Is there anyway I can reset my phone if it doesnt turn on (would hate people getting a hold of my info someway), and how much will it sell for (is it even worth selling now)?

My phone still worked perfectly when it was charged, but there is no way I can charge it.
