Why do you NEED the iPhone 4S the day is Comes OUT?!

Okay, well if you were smart maybe you would sold your iphone after you got your iPhone 4S, so people aren't desperate to have the new one on release day!

And yes 1 year later there will be a brand new re-design iphone! So people who had iphone 4 should of just waited...

Because they want it when it comes out?

What exactly is wrong with this? Why do so many people get so upset with people who want things on release day?
 
Cause I'm the coolest kid on the block with the latest and greatest everything.

Seriously, why does it bother you. People get excited for different things. Have no idea why you dedicated a whole new thread on this.
 
cause I already sold my iPhone 4 and am using a temp flip phone...

...never doing this again.

Okay so what I have gathered is that people want it right away, because they sold their old iphone for it... -.-

Exactly this. As an adult you don't really get excited about Christmas or your birthday anymore, at elast not like when you were a kid. (Side note: when you have kids you get excited about Christmas again, but in a completely different way. :) ) This is sort of like our Christmas, except we know what we're getting and it's just the anticipation for it to get here.

The longer you wait the less money you can get for it. so actually you would be stupid to wait.

And you assume everyone here has an iPhone 4. A lot of us are upgrading from a 3GS or even a 3G.

Cause I've had a 3GS for 2 and a half years and it's my money to spend. Don't see how it concerns you.
 
Because I've had my 3GS since June of 2009, and want a change. I've been waiting since February when I became eligible for an upgrade, believing I would be getting one in June. And and now that it's October, I REALLY want it now...:D

Cause it's a toy. And I want it.
 
So I can walk by the Apple Store here and laugh at the suckers waiting in line for over 6 hours.

I have had my 3GS since the day it came out, and am I scrambling to get the 4S on Oct. 14, NO!
 
humans are naturally impatient. you may not be impatient for this, and find it absurd, but I guarantee you that you are impatient for something, and I could very well find it absurd

many people (myself included) can upgrade every year

and if you knew anything about the iPhone market, you'd know that you can get sometimes upwards of $200 MORE for your phone if you sell it before a new iPhone has been announced/released

selling it a week before launch vs after is a difference sometimes between getting $500/$600 for your phone vs $200/$300
 
okay so wait, If i sell my iphone 3GS after i get the ihpone 4s...how much could i sell it for...? i got it the day it came out!
 
because if your going to buy it anyway, you might as well get it right when it comes out. I really don't see the point of the question.
 
Because my eve is on it's last leg and I need a new phone and sprint is getting the iPhone I want it before my android craps out on me.
 
I'm only waiting for it to come out so the countdown for the iPhone 5 begins right after.
