So Apple is the only company that "brainswashes" their customers, who would have thought? LOL. Your whole post is a joke.

No what I am saying is for all the fanboys out there, APPLE IS NOT GOD.... Their products have just as many problems as others.. AND GOD FORBID if someone comes on here to voice their opinion, they get chopped up into pieces because they don't drop to their knees and kiss apples feet...

And who said Apple is "God". Some people take themselves way too seriously.

I am confused... He explained what happens to him and I don't have any reason to disbelieve it. He never said it will happen to everyone.

I have experienced these exact same issues. I've had multiple phones in my current home, all got full service, and the only ones that have ever dropped calls has been my original iPhone (jailbroken and unlocked, so I give it a pass on any problems) and my iPhone 3G (completely stock).

That doesn't mean I don't like the iPhone, it just means that the iPhone definitely falls down in some areas.

Ok this is the last discussion on this I will have.. I'm not the only one on here that has problems with the phone dropping calls... I have full bars also and still drop calls. If it doesn't happen on my friends phone AND HE DOESN'T HAVE AN IPHONE then it's the phone...

And there are many people on this forums who think apple is god... Look at the way many people get answers to there questions, they go no respect...

As for me getting an iphone, it was the best one out AT THE TIME..... Things change and I hope for them to stay ahead of the game, they have something else in store beside, MMS copy & paste and video with an upgraded camera....

The best way to prove what (smart) phone is the best or the tops is simple.

You always see (fill in the blank) is an iphone killer.
You never hear the iphone is a (fill in the blank) killer.

Why do you think that is? When ever you are on top there is always someone trying to knock you off.

Why do you think all these other phone fan boys come to the iphone board to claim their new next gen phone is going to be better than the iphone, then when that phone comes out all those fan boys disappear when their phone is not all its hyped up to be.

Every phone has it pro's and con's but the iphone is always the smart phone other companys are trying to copy or get ahead of.

Why do you think that is?

I also see a lot of people complaining about video or taking pic's with their phone.
I really dont see what the big deal is, who cares if a phone can take video or not, the quality is always terrible, and if i wanted to film something I would use my real video camera. Video is an overrated feature on phones.

thanks for make this happen, PALM PRE!

The point is we shouldn't even NEED MMS at this point. MMS is 2003 technology. Every phone *should* have email with push at this point. Texting is old tech.

My parents aren't going to spend 30 bucks for a data plan just to send pictures. MMS is included in our family texting plan.

ok i never said apple is god..NEVER once... and you said straight up the iphone sucks as a phone... PERIOD .. you did not say the ATT service for the iphone sucks where you live .. just that it sucks as a phone .. which is NOT true .. and its the service provider NOT the phone

MMS is also as close to free and true push as we can get. Since the notification is simply a form of an incoming page (ring), it uses no more power than regular phone standby to watch for it.

And if 100,000 Pres were sold, I'd say it did pretty well given the state of the economy. Things are worse now than they were during either the iPhone or iPhone 3G launch.
Apple sold 1 million iPhone 3Gs in the device’s first three days of release in 2008, 10 times the number Atkin estimated for the Pre.

You really think the difference of 900,000 units is JUST the economy?

ROFL....

Even the original iphones which were 500, 600 dollar phones sold 270 000 in its launch weekend.
