not going to happen.. Sprint CEO said contrary to what verizon said and people think .. their exclusivity is longer than 6 months
No, he said that Sprint's exclusivity was NOT 6 months, with the natural implication that it was longer (but without actually saying it). The Sprint exclusivity could be 3 months and his statement would still be true.

I guess you didn't read my post. I said I can't recall "Sprint" or "Palm" calling the Pre a iPhone killer. You can't expect a company to be responsible for what some of it's stockholders have to say.

LOL yeah I'm sure Sprint and Palm don't view the Pre as an "iphone killer".

I don't think anyone does. Like I said the only place you hear talk about iPhone killers is on iPhone forums. It's as if the fanboys are actually worried about it. It's not going to happen anytime soon but it will one day. No one stays on top for ever.

It certainly won't kill the iPhone but it is legitimate competition and will make it better for the consumer. The more others innovate the more it pushes competitors.

The same stockholder was recently on stage with the dude who created the Pre and he was calling Apple a "monopoly". If you don't believe the share he and others at Palm share same sentiments about the Pre being a so called "iphone killer" you must be deluded.

Ok, I'l just take your word this happend. Now you have two people that has anything finacially to do with Palm who have called the Pre an iPhone killer. Whop-dee-doo.

Palm nor Sprint has called the Pre an iPhone killer.

I think your the one becoming deluded, fanboy. Settle down, the iPhone is doing just fine for now.

No it is you that is the fanboy. You think Palm or Sprint would publicly come and market the phone as an iphone killer..

Who thinks this ? Palm and sprint obviously are bringing it to the market because they think they can attract people to their platform/service and make money. There is absolutely no reason why the pre has to "kill" anything to be successful. Nor any reason to believe that either company are out to "kill" a competitors product . It's just another, of many, many, many phones on the market.

When and where have I ever said anything that would make you think that?

Son ,it's like this. If the CEO of Sprint says the Pre is an iPhone killer that means Sprint is saying it. If the CEO of Palm says the Pre is an iPhone killer it means Palm is saying it. Your talking about two people who do not have the authority to speak for either company.

Grow up, fanboy.

missing call when switching cells, broken silence switch, light leak, overheating, portable adapters that broke on the wall,

So if the iPhone has flaws, and the Pre has flaws, then what's the point of putting down the Pre by saying it has flaws?

Well said...

Then again, EXTREME Apple fanboys think Apple is perfect and has absolutely no flaws. That is, until Apple releases a "feature" that SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE, and then all the EXTREME fanboys say:

OMG APPLE IS DA GOD!!!!

It happened with copy and paste and MMS. It'll happen again.

This is a Palm Pre thread, if you want to talk about iphone flaws, open another thread.

I still find it interesting on everyone's insecurities on the Pre... why is it you never see a similar "official fail" thread for Dell or HP? Hmmmm?

If iPhone really is "god's gift to humanity," then why fret over Pre's failings?

Again... insecurities.
