LOL, I know right! Keep it for when you need some extra protection.

I'm hoping that it doesn't look as "substantial" on the iPhone 7.

Well. I pre ordered one.

So......

Anyone wanna buy a crash guard on like Monday or Tuesday?

Just refuse shipment and have it returned to the seller for a full refund. Don't lose any money on that monstrosity of a bumper.

It's not that bad in person, ok it's huge but it works for now. At least it confirms that my search for a case is limited to a bumper.

Thanks for the pics. That one is definitely off my list.

The pics look precisely like what I've experienced. That thing is pretty big. Yes, the phone is protected from drops and front/back side down. However, it is so thick that it changes the thinness of the phone enough to make it less ideal for one-handed use. This one is already queued to go back to Amazon.

If there's a good reason quality, thinner bumper I'd love to know of it. Thanks and no need to add pics from what is an already-reboxed product.

so here are the dimensions for the CrashGuard from one of the reps from Evolutive Labs...

"The Dimensions are: 84.5mm x 164.7mm x 10.2mm and the thickness is 3.1mm"

And here are the dimensions for the CrashGuard for the iPhone 7...

"The Measuements are 73.8mm x 145mm x 10.2mm, the thickness is 3.1mm"

The depth converts to 0.40", which only adds 0.12" to the iPhone 7. It's the width and height that might be the deal breaker for me. Both dimensions add just over 0.25". We shall see. I just got my shipment email from Evolutive.

So, just noticed in my shipment email from Evolutive...

"If you do not have a link to the tracking yet, it should be sent to you automatically within 1 to 3 days. If you do not receive it after 3 days, please make sure to contact us."

I didn't receive tracking info yet. Why don't they provide tracking info in the email?

My emails came separately on a one day lag.

I just received mine today and Ive already submitted a request to return it. Too bad because it fits well and Im sure it's protective. I dont like the way the phone felt in my hand anymore though. Too wide and bulky. If they made a Rhinoshield *Light* I'd be all over it...

That sucks. Mine is en route and have been second guessing my purchase. Looks like the Caze ThinEdge bumper might be a good thin/light option.

I got the K11 bumper from ThanoTech for my iPhone 6S about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. It does not add a lot of bulk at all, and keeps the phone looking beautiful. I have not noticed any signal decrease at all. It is slightly slippery, but no more slippery than the "naked" iPhone. Really nice buttons too. The mute button can be a little hard to switch on and off at times (small hole). I'm guessing the design will be very similar for the iPhone 7. I can definitely recommend this bumper for those that want a good looking thin bumper that still provides good drop protection (6 foot drop protection rating).

My Crash Guard came today for my 7 plus. Really not sure of my opinion yet. It is definitely a tight fight(made my dbrand skin peel.) wish they would have made the speaker holes individual holes instead of one big one. The bumper is stiffer then I expected but does have nice lips including the one for the camera hump so it doesn't wobble. The bumper is larger than my ballistic titanium for the 6 plus.

For all you CrashGuard "downers" you're not looking at the positives of this bumper. It doubles as a floatation device in case you ever find yourself in the middle of the ocean. It's not just a bulky bumper folks.

Got mine last week! The crash guard 2.0 is definitely better. The shape of the bumper has been redesigned so it actually doesn't feel very bulky.

for me the crash guard is prefect investment as i cant afford to repair my iPhone. (I just sold one of my kidney for the 7 plus)

Anyone receive their Caze ThinEdge bumper order yet? These are the specs directly from Caze for the iphone 7 bumper...

height: 14cm = 5.51"
width: 7cm = 2.76"
depth: 0.8cm = 0.31

Now we are talking thin!

Here is some additional info.

My only concern is how functional and durable is the fastener? The fastener is probably necessary because the bumper is made of a harder material and not elastic like those TPU soft bumpers.

Case Thin Edge is set to ship on the 28th of this month. I doubt if anyone already has one.

I know I ordered mine and have been patiently waiting. Caze is not winning any awards on outstanding customer service anytime soon.

I had the Caze for the iPhone 5. Really liked it. Unfortunately, it cracked in multiple places and all Caze would do for me is give a 20% discount on a new one. The fastener also became loose over time. I really loved it, but it was unfortunately not very durable. Hopefully, they've fixed these issues for the iPhone 7 and 7+. I didn't try the iPhone 6/6+ version, so I can't comment.

One question I have about all these bumpers is how tightly the sides stay attached to the long edges of the phone, especially on the Plus size. Are the bumpers tight or are they easily pulled away from the phone's body?

Call me crazy, but I received my Rhinoshield CrashGuard today and I am very happy with it. I have the black 7+ and I like the matte black finish on the bumper. The look in person, I find appealing. I saw the pics posted here the other day and I was sure I would return this. I previously was using a Spigen Ultra Hybrid Air Cushion and if the CrashGuard is thicker, it's only by a minimal amount.

I had the Caze ThinEdge bumper also for my 4 or 5 (can't remember) but I didn't like it. It was just a flimsy plastic border and the clip wouldn't stay connected. That was several years ago so Im sure they have improved the design. But it was just a bumper to avoid scratching the bezel.

BTW, I hate the fact that I use a case. I really want to carry the phone naked, but I find the 7+ too big and slippery and I know I will drop it. And I set it down on my desk, tables and counters and I don't want to scratch the camera. For now at least, I am going to use the CrashGuard.

That's good news. I also had my eye on the rhino shield but I thought it wouldn't be good. I'm going to maybe give one a shot via amazon after reading your experience. I also have the matte black & the only other case option I was going with was the apple silicone one. Love the feel of it but defeats the purpose but covering up the nice matte black finish.

I'd love to go naked without a case but It gets tedious when I set my phone down and have to make sure it's on something soft so I don't scratch the camera lens/screen.
